Marine mammal watching
The southwest coast of Tenerife is a privileged spot for watching marine mammals in liberty, there are colonies of whales and dolphins that live here all year round.
The marine mammals can been spotted very close to the shore, which has converted Tenerife into the top European destination for watching marine mammals in their natural habitat. You can find up to 21 different species in these waters, ranging from the giant blue whale to the fearsome killer whale. There are two resident populations, tropical whales and bottle nosed dolphins, which can be spotted almost 80% of the time, with an actual sighting percentage of 100%.
An opportunity not to be missed as there are few places on the planet that offer such a large range so close to the hotel. The half a million visitors to our marine mammal colonies every year cannot be wrong.
Descend into the Masca gorge and experience the splendour of the luminous landscape where you can find the indigenous flora exclusive to this region.
You will also have time to sample some typical Canary island fare such as fresh goats cheese, cactus juice, local recommended wines, jams and delicious home-made sauces. The descent lasts between 3 to 4 hours.
On arrival at the beach, enjoy a well-earned swim and relax in the sunshine while you wait for the boat returning to Los Gigantes.

Visits to Siam Park:
The most modern and exclusive water park in Europe offers visitors a thrilling experience. Discover the largest artificial wave in the world at 3 metres high, it can even be surfed by the most daring. There is a whole host of other incredible attractions for the whole family. The smallest members of the family can enjoy themselves in the water fortress.

If you want to explore and discover the remotest points of the island, we are specialists in off-road and mono-space trails. We will take you on a route of the north of Tenerife, crossing the rural areas of Icod de los Vinos or a road trip in Los Realejos.
Another route from el Teide to Masca to reach the most typical and hidden corners of the island. Perhaps there isn't enough time to visit everything but you can't leave the island without a quick tour of the Teide volcano and be back in time for lunch.
You will also have the chance to visit la Gomera island. To reach this island you will depart from los Cristianos port to San Sebastián de la Gomera, where you will embark on an unforgettable adventure.
Excursion to la Gomera
The island of La Gomera has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the only one in Spain. The trip starts in los Cristianos port in Tenerife. Arriving in San Sebastián de la Gomera by ferry, on the south route, you will ascend the lush virgin subtropical laurel forest of Garajonay.
Visitors will be amazed by the outstanding beauty of the fertile land. After lunch there will be a demonstration of the Silbo Gomero (Gomeran Whistle), a form of communication that only exists on this island.
