City tour:
This tour will take you on a journey through Costa Rican culture and its history. You will discover some of San José’s most important tourist sites. Includes a visit to the National theatre and/or a museum. Shopping stop to buy regional products.

Arenal Volcano and Tabacón Hot Springs:

One of our most famous tours! The Arenal is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. If that wasn't enough, right in front of the volcano and so close you can feel the earth rumbling, is a visit to the most beautiful garden with hot thermal springs to complete this evening in fascinating natural surroundings.

Canopy Tour:

This is a once in a lifetime experience. It consists of sliding from one platform to another, giving you the feeling of flying through the canopy. The La Carpintera canopy offers 1800 metres of cable between 10 platforms, rappelling and a small trek though the forest trail.

Poas Volcano:

We take the Pan-American highway to the city of Alajuela where we will stop and admire the Farmer's Monument, the Juan Santamaría monument and the famous Los Mangos park. On the ascent to the volcano we will pass through coffee, ferns, flowers and strawberry plantations. There will be enough time at the volcano to observe the impressive main crater, with its fumarolic sulphur crystals. Then we will trek towards the pretty Botos Lagoon where we can discover the reserve's different ecosystems.

Irazu Volcano:

We take the Pan-American motorway south to start the climb up the Irazú Volcano, known locally as “The Colossus”. The winding path that crosses varied and fertile farmlands gives you a bird's eye view of the vast expanse. The volcano's main craters can be observed from its summit and sometimes on a clear day you may even make out the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans in the distance. On the descent into the city of Cartago, you can see the church of Virgen de los Ángeles, which according to religious custom is a place of pilgrimage for many believers.

Irazu Volcano, Orosi Valley & Lancaster Gardens:
The Irazú Volcano is one of the highest in the country (3432 m.). You can see the volcano’s main craters from its summit and on a clear day, you may even be able to make out the Atlantic and Pacific oceans in the distance. We will also pay a visit to los Ángeles church, the Orosi Valley and the Lancaster Botanical garden, home to 800 species of orchids and bromeliads.

4 in 1:
We will visit the famous Cartago Ruins from where we will head towards the majestic Irazu Volcano. After a delicious typical breakfast we will head to the Braulio Carillo National Park. Next we will arrive at the town of Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, where we will board a boat and continue the tour, with ample opportunity to admire the lush flora and wildlife. At the end of the boat trip, a well-deserved typical lunch and enjoyable horseback ride will be awaiting you.

Tortuguero National Park:
Early morning departure from your hotel in San José towards the mountains in the Braulio Carrillo National Park. On the way we will stop for a typical Costa Rican breakfast. We will visit a banana plantation. A motor boat will then take us through the canals of the Caribbean jungle. After lunch we will go on a trek through the rainforest and a boat trip through the canals of the Tortuguero National Park where you will have the opportunity to observe all types of exotic animals and birds.

Cable car:
Explore the gardens of the Rainforest The cable car offers a fantastic journey through one of the world’s most diverse canopies. It is only 60 minutes from de San José. Located in a private nature reserve adjacent to Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most biologically diverse forests.

Our destination is Isla Tortuga (Turtle Island), famous for its white sand beaches and crystal-clear water which allow us to enjoy a multitude of activities. The Best of the Pacific:
Leaving San José towards the Pacific Coast on the old Spanish route of 1606, we will enjoy a boat trip along the Tarcoles River. With our guides you will venture into a world of crocodiles and a large variety of water and migratory birdlife. Later you will be able to enjoy the exotic paradise at the Punta Leona Resort with its white sand beaches and tropical dry forest.

Doka, Grecia, Sarchi and Wagon Factory:

A visit to the pretty city Grecia, considered one of the cleanest in Latin America, and where the only metallic temple of Central America is located. We will then visit the city of Sarchi, which is known as the cradle of Costa Rican arts and crafts thanks to the abundance of workshops that work with fine woods; we will see artisans working in the famous factory that produces the typical wagons.

Rainforest Adventure (3 in 1):
The tour starts with a trip through the extraordinary rainforest at the Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the most important reserves in Costa Rica. When we arrive at Sarapiqui, we will climb aboard a boat which will take us on a trip down the Sarapiqui river. After the boat trip we will venture on a private hiking path of the Selva Verde Lodge. After a tasty lunch and a walk into San José we will visit the famous Aerial Tram in the rainforest, where we can observe the trees and nature from a gondola with a nature guide. Sarapiqui River, Class III Rapids:
An untamed river that freely crosses the north-eastern part of Costa Rica, running towards the north as far as the border with Nicaragua, offering challenging rapids and lush vegetation. The tour leaves from San José, and the journey takes about 2 hours. 30 minutes to the jetty. Breakfast on the way. The trip lasts from 2 to 3 hours depending on the water level. Lunch is on the riverbank before setting off on your return trip to San José.

Pacuare River Rapids, Grade IV::
This river is considered the most scenic and untamed in Latin America. The mysterious and remote scenery have led to the Pacuare River now being a protected area. The river is globally renowned as one of the best to practice this sport. There are also 2-day excursions available (including a night in the jungle).

Canyoning Tour:
The location for the Canyoning Tour is located in Calle Chirraca, a small, modest village close to the city of Turrialba, only 1 hour to the East of San José, set in a private reserve in the primary forest. The journey starts with guides introducing the equipment and the different tools that will be used during the tour. During the activity, you will complete various manoeuvres such as: descending 4 waterfalls linked by 4 canopy cables, descending leafy trees with ropes and crossing a 40 m long rope bridge. The journey time is approximately 3 to 4 hours. For this special tour, we provide our customers with specialised equipment and a waterproof jacket. However, customers should bring clothes and shoes to change into at the end of the trip.
