Volcán Arenal & Baldi Hot Springs (USD 148)

Your trip to Costa Rica is not complete without visiting the magnificent Volcán Arenal and bathing in hot springs at Tabacón, Baldi or Ecotermales. On this route, you can observe the country's chain of volcanoes and landscapes and learn more about them as well as the seasonal change from the dry season to the rainy season. Upon arrival, we will walk through old lava beds close to the National Park and learn more about the history of this fiery cone while taking in some flora and fauna. Afterwards, we will enjoy a delicious lunch inside the thermal bath facilities so that your body can relax while observing this active volcano with lava spewing from its highest peak. We will complete the tour with a full dinner once we return to the hotel.

Palo Verde National Park and Guaitil (USD 95)

Palo Verde’s natural water system creates all the right conditions to accommodate the highest concentration of birds in this country and Central America. This is a birdwatcher’s paradise and the perfect place to see crocodiles, certain types of monkeys and reptiles while you cruise up the Tempisque River in a boat. The tour will stop at the famous town of Guaitil after lunch where you will learn more about the native Chorotega tribe. You can observe how these artists make handicrafts using traditional methods passed down from their Pre-Colombian ancestors.

Rincón de la Vieja National Park Guided Hike (USD 90)

Hiking through the Rincón de la Vieja National Park is a great experience for the whole family. Inside the park, you can observe fumaroles, volcanic mud in La Pailas and the exotic variety of flora and fauna in the area. All this is accompanied by a specialist nature guide.

Adventure Tour in Borinquén (USD 152)

Enjoy a thrilling horseback ride through the mountains to pastures that offer gorgeous views of Guanacaste's Pacific Coast and the beautiful Rincón de la Vieja volcano. Afterwards, we will zip over the tree tops and cross the canyon from one side to another on the fantastic canopy walk that passes right in front of the Borinquén Waterfall.

We will eat a delicious lunch to regain energy and end the day at our world-famous, relaxing thermal baths.

Buena Vista Combo (USD 148)

This is a fun-packed day that includes a canopy walk, hot thermal springs, natural spa, water slide and horseback ride. It is the perfect place for nature lovers and thrill seekers. Slide along the canopy walk cables in the shadows of the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano and observe the unparalleled variety of flora and fauna that exists in this area. Relaxing your muscles with the therapeutic volcanic mud and swimming in the pool is the perfect excuse for spending a family day out. A nature guide and typical Costa Rican food await you on this tour. And don’t forget the fun of descending down a 1,312 foot-long water slide.

Floating Expedition Down the Corobici River (USD 110)

During this daylong tour you'll enjoy adventure and learn about Costa Rica’s fauna while you float along the beautiful Corobici River. This tour is suitable for the whole family as it is very safe. Enjoy conversations while also enjoying the views and the birdsong, which can be heard in the background. The river traverses a dry tropical rainforest where you'll observe giant trees. You'll also visit the Puma Rescue Center where you can observe a wide variety of big cats that are native to Costa Rica as well as several species of birds and Cariblanca monkeys.
