Hotels in Huelva

Endless beaches, lush natural parks, the best ham in the world... Huelva is the gem of Andalusia, offering all these riches along with guaranteed sunshine and average annual temperatures of nearly 20 degrees.

This Spanish province is surrounded by a great variety of points of interest to choose from, as it shares borders with Portugal and Cadiz and is also close to other unique regions like Seville or Malaga. But once you discover the entertainment, gastronomy and nature it has to offer, it is hard to decide to visit other regions instead.

Costa de la Luz

Huelva is located on the wonderful Costa de la Luz, a brilliant coastline that conceals beautiful little coves and boasts long beaches which are perfect for water sports. It also offers unique destinations such as Punta Umbría, Isla Cristina or Isla Canela. For those looking for nature, the Aracena mountains or Doñana Park (the largest ecological reserve in Europe) are the perfect places to visit. These places are also ideal for those who love photography, but the very best photos are most likely to be taken of the spectacular scenery offered by the Río Tinto mines.

Huelva is also the land of Columbus. At the Wharf of the Caravels you can visit replicas of the boats on which Christopher Columbus set out to discover America.

Gastronomy and culture

But Huelva is so much more than this: it boasts unique gastronomy in which the star attractions are prawns, fried fish, and above all, the famous Jabugo ham; it is also pure culture, home to the Nobel prize winner Juan Ramón Jiménez; and it is passion, thanks to its traditional Rocío festival. It is unique, eternal and incomparable. Huelva is a destination where you can enjoy a special kind of light, beautiful sunshine and great people.
