Blackjack is the classic of classics. It is a card game where the aim is get your cards to add up to 21 points, or get as close as possible to this amount. All players play against the croupier (the house) who starts the game dealing two cards facing up for each player and two to themselves; one up and one facing down. The common cards are counted according to their value; Kings, Queens and Jacks have a value of 10 and the Aces are either 1 or 11. If your first two cards make up a total of 21 points you have a Black Jack.
It is played in a semicircle, with capacity for up to 7 players, each player has a square marked into the felt cover in front of them to place a bet before each hand. This bet should be made on each hand, before the first card is played.
This is a game of chance that consists of a croupier spinning a ball over the moving roulette wheel, after the ball has spun around the wheel several times it eventually falls into one of the numbered pockets on the wheel. The objective is to predict which pocket the ball is going to fall into.
The croupier announces the start of a new game by saying "new name", at this moment the betting for the next game starts. Players can make their bets on the table until the croupier closes betting by saying "no more bets". After betting has closed, the croupier spins the ball in the opposite direction to the wheel. When the balls falls into one of the pockets, the croupier announces the winning number. Then the losing chips are removed from the table and the winning bets are paid out.
Consult the pay-out table to see the bets that can be placed, how many numbers are being played with each bet and how much could be won in each case.
