    “Best Staff Ever!!”

    Rendy (and santiago) were such awesome bar tenders!! Their staff waitresses were also amazing, including Gabriela, Carolina, Ayshell and junira. (Gena the night housekeeping was also SO amazing!) I will deff be coming back!

    “Awesome vacation!”

    Rendy was an amazing bartender who provided excellent service! Very fun and energetic. Can’t leave out Gabriella, Santiago, ayshell, Carolina and many others who also all made our vacation special! The show staff was fun as well, including Allen and other staff! Can’t wait to go back!

    “Amazing Trip... AGAIN!”

    Another year equals another amazing trip to Barcelo! Our most recent trip (November 28th-December 7th) was no different. It's always a pleasure to catch up with the entire staff. In particular, the Royal Club staff sure knows how to make their owners feel welcomed and happy-- Sandra and Veronica, you definitely went above and beyond this year! :) Additionally, the entire Royal Club restaurant staff, especially Melvin, George, Ederlina and Joyce outdid themselves, as well. As always, thank you for all of your dedication and amazing customer service! :)

    “Day pass not worth it”

    We did a day pass and this place was sub par. Even if you are a hotel guest the only ones on the beach that can use the beach bar are royal level guests. All others need to walk all the way back to the pool for very slow inattentive service. The 3 waiters that did take our orders never actually returned. We eventually got tired of no shade on the beach and migrated to the pool. Still little device and the only chairs were broken. We had a day pass to stay till 6pm...we left by 2:45.

    “Barcelo”

    Great location but insufficient pool/beach chairs. No good outdoor bar, pool bar is small and loud. You have to get up at 6:30 in the morning to try to reserve a palapa. While the beach is public, staff makes no effort to monitor palapa use by non-guests in the afternoon. Hotel tends to draw an obnoxiously loud younger crowd (compared to the nearby hotels). Would not stay there again.
