    “Not 5 stars”

    First of all, at arrival, the receptionist was polite until he realized that 2 of us (group of 4) were Romanian. In that moment, he suddenly decided to ask us to pay in advance and took extra time to check our documents. Going forward, the hotel provides a nespresso machine indeed in every room but you get just 4 capsules (2 normal and 2 decaff) regardless of your stay. Same happened with the tea, 4 sachets and being replenished. Toiletries were provided for just 1 pers despite being 2 in the room and there were no slippers which is not pleasant seeing the bathroom floor was in marble. Last morning of our trip we woke up to find there was no water due to a broken pipe. All we could hear was "we cannot do anything" so we could not even get coffee in the morning before a 1400 km drive. It would be enough for the hotel management to order a cistern of water delivered but obviously, there is no disaster recovery in place. To make matters worse, the elevator for parking was broken and the receptionist told us to take the stairs (though no mention which were those). Add to this the fact that every evening between 6-9 pm some cleaning lady would knock desperately at the door to offer us those small chocolates that are usually left on the pillows.All in all, it was not 5 stars standard or conditions and I for one will never again use a Barcelo hotel.

     Dear guest, We are really sorry to hear that you did not enjoy the experience in our hotel to the fullest as we strive to make each stay with us an unforgettable one. We are sorry that the amenities included in the room did not address your needs. With the aim of providing amenities that are useful to customers and for environmental protection policy, we based our decision on the items that are most requested by the different types of guests who stay at our hotels. However, additional amenities are available upon request. With regard to your comment, just like at a growing number of establishments, our hotels have an advance payment procedure to speed up check-out times. We are sorry that you are not pleased with this process. We would like to take the opportunity to clarify that Barceló welcomes all guests who book to stay with us regardless of their origin, skin tone, religion and age, and strongly believes that everybody has a right to a well-earned holiday.  Regarding the water cut, we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. It was a general failure and we kindly request you to take it as an isolated circumstance, for whose immediate solution we will carry out all the necessary corrective measures and training actions. The water cut lasted a few hours. However, we had other alternatives for those customers who wanted to take a shower or take a coffee. We apologize if our reception team did not transmit this information correctly.     “Comfortable and spacious”

    Stayed for two nights at this modern hotel with spacious rooms and good service!The hotel was beautiful and staff were friendly! Location was good as well. Not far from the city centre and close to the motorway.

    “Holiday”

    Hotel was located 15 minutes to city center, not a bad walk as there is few nice shops along the way. Overall comfortable hotel, rooms were not cleaned properly but fixed upon request. Great for people with cars as they validate the parking.

    “Beautiful Granada”

    This was our our vìsit after a very long time. We were pleasantly surprised by the change to the city. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. The hotel is very easy to reach from the motorway and has a large garage. We have already booked to return in a few months.

    “Love this Hotel”

    We spent 4 days in Granada We booked a junior suite which was great Two full size rooms with spa bathroom It was an excellent location 10-15 minutes walk to city center. Plenty of shops close by We opted to use hotel spa one afternoon after visiting Alpujarras relaxing way to end the day Highly recommend Hafeeza USA
