    “A disappointing experience”

    I booked this hotel en route from France. It is conveniently located next to the autoroute. It claims to be a 5* hotel, I didn’t find it so. It has the decor for the rating.....excellent lifts, delightful rooms and impeccably clean. The problem came with the restaurant. I have been fortunate enough to stay in numerous 5* hotels across the world but never once experienced the farce in trying to eat in the restaurant. It is claimed to be “gourmet”. I received the menu which consisted of about 5 pages. Indeed, there were many interesting and different choices.....my eye fell upon the rabbit with mushrooms and snails. I tried to order it and was told that it is only for 2 people. Then I tried another page...same thing.....only for 2 people! In fact 3 of the pages consisted of “2 people” only. The meagre single page of things I was allowed to have was not interesting, the ubiquitous steak and veal escalope. In the end I ordered off the bar menu.....veal with a tuna sauce. Well actually it was a pita bread sandwich of dried veal with a tuna mayo accompaniment. Awful! The best part was the house Rioja. I felt sorry for the restaurant manager and the sole waiter who must be grossly embarrassed for not being able to allow guests to choose what they wanted.They must have many business people travelling alone and I can only imagine what they would think of this “gourmet” restaurant after a busy day! The hotel was advertised with parking. This is the only “5*” hotel I have ever visited when they charge guests for parking....15eur for the day. I don’t even get that at the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok! There is no way I would recommend it. It might also be a good idea if they get the room windows cleaned occasionally.

    “Great hotel and excellent value”

    Good location within 30 minutes walking distance to Alhambra and shopping areas.Great breakfast with lots of virally. Excellent service.The only downside is that no swimming pool or steam room or sauna!

However, we have our panoramic U-Wellness spa with views of the city and Sierra Nevada. The U-Wellness includes a thermal hydrotherapy pool, indoor and outdoor hydromassage, sauna, Turkish bath and contrast showers for an additional charge. You can enjoy a water circuit for the price of € 19 per person. We celebrate you enjoyed our location just 15 minutes walking far from the heart of the city that makes it the perfect base for visiting the main tourist attractions and just 20 minutes from Granada airport. It is also good to know that you enjoyed our breakfast, prepared by our professional chefs who always strive to offer a wide variety of typical delicacies in order to please all palates, and we thank you for letting us know that we could conquer yours.     “Nice hotel with spa”

    Very nice hotel, clean, good service. Rooms are big enough,well equipped bathroom. Breakfast buffet had everything for a good breakfast. Spa is also cozy and relaxing after skiing at Sierra Nevada. The only thing we would have liked to have is coffee/tea facilities in the room

    “A clean stopping place, but lacking”

    My fiance and I stopped in for just one night, as Granada was a half way point on our eight hour drive. Unfortunately, we were there on Three Kings Day, and a Sunday, so the hotels normal amenities were lacking. The restaurant was closed, and the spa, a good part of the reason why we chose this hotel, wasn't available either. The room, while clean, was spartan. As someone else complained, the heating is centrally controlled, so it was quite warm in the room, even for my fiance who is usually cold. The window did open ... onto a noisy courtyard with fountains that kept us up half the night ... combined with some loud Spanish people at 5-6 am in the residential areas nearby. The bathroom was very stingy on towels, even the mini bar was half empty, and not a tea pot or coffee maker. Breakfast was very extensive, but should have been available up until the check out time. The hotel felt very empty and a little creepy... perhaps because of the holiday, but I would not have wanted to be a woman staying there alone. The hotel does offer parking (15 euro a night), but it isn't near to anything else -- it was a 15 minute drive to the Alhambra, which was the draw of Granada to us. We were glad to have a nice place to sleep (bed was MASSIVE) but we won't be booking back there again any time soon.

    “Modern hotel located away from tourist areas”

    Modern hotel located away from tourist areas. We arrived late and only spent 1 night with family so can't comment on most of the facilties/restaurant. It was very busy at check in due to arrival of large bus tour group and the restaurant was very busy. We ended up ordering from the restaurant but eating at the bar. Two of our burgers were undercooked (requested well done, were raw in the middle). Parking garage was hard to locate and enter due to location and the one way streets. It's a 15 min drive to the Alhambra parking lot from hotel.
