    “Not the best... but decent”

    I only liked 4 things about this resort. The pool, beach, the breakfast buffet, and the Tokyo restaurant. The food for dinner and lunch was pretty awful to me. Very little variety and more Americanized than Dominican dishes. Barely no entertainment during the day. I think there was only like 3 males that are part of entertainment team and I didn't see any activities during the day. There was rarely any music being played by the pool side, not a live ambiance. The pool is very nice and has a swim up bar. The beach, breath taking. So clean, nice, clear water, and a few annoying sellers that tend to nag you while you're relaxing. At night time, there was no real entertainment. Compared to other resort I've been to where night entertainment is a big thing, their shows only had small crowds. There was a lot of construction going on due to the hurricane as well around the premises. On our side of the resort, the elevator was not working. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful besides one incident I had at the gift shopping store with the employees. Overall, just an okay experience.

    “Don't stay here...”

    Called in advance and was told the hotel experienced no damage due to Hurricane Maria. When we arrived, the construction was unbelievable. Loud and non stop until after 6 p.m. in the evening. No time to sleep in or take a nap in the afternoon. Most restaurants are closed to include spa and Casino.

    “Never coming back”

    Hotel is terrible by design, its a labyrinth - better prepare a compass, some dry snacks and few bottles of water before heading for or leaving your room, whenever you want to go it'll take a while. Internet is terrible, has automatic logout every few minutes of inactivity, get ready to login 20 times a day. During a check in procedure you'll be warned of fines you have to pay if you lose your room key (50$ for 20c worth magnetic card), bracelet (20$ for 50c bracelet) and beach towel card (20$ for 10c plastic), yeah it looked like - Welcome to Gulag! Here you can enjoy yesterday's food in buffet, get ripped off in the hotels mini market for buying proper soap, shampoo or anything else this hotel simply does not provide in the room (you'll find some dirt cheap stuff in the bathroom you don't really ever want to use on your body). There's more to tell but I already lost too much time with this, dare you to find out yourselves how crappy this place is.

    “Great relaxing vacation”

    This hotel is great value for the money, unpretentious and never short on drinks or food. I liked how quickly I got my drinks prepared and how close to beach the bar is. Great nightly entertainment and awesome ambiance.

    Ahoj ahoj, do Dominikanske republiky jsme se s přítelem vydali v červnu 2016. Jako hotel jsme si vybrali Barcelo Premium Punta Cana. A můžu s jistotou říci, že jsme byli 100% spokojení. Pláž je nádherná a čistá stejnĕ jako bazén. Personál je velmi milý a přátelský. Nejlepší srandu jsme si užili s místními animátory Super Daniel, Gabriel a Abel. Můžu jen doporučit. Palec nahoru.
