    “Beautifully renovated - hope they can do the same for aervuce”

    I stayed there due to the recommendation of a leading businessman in Santo Domingo. The rooms and grounds are lovely - just beautiful and manicured perfectly. The service leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately. While I understand things can be slower in Santo Domingo as was pointed out to me by my friends- there is zero excuse for long waits at check in, long waits at check out ( because they need to send someone to check the minibar when I told them exactly what was taken from there and then they needed to figure out the cost - for a bottle of water!). There is also no excuse for me waiting 15 minutes to try and order a drink at the bar at night before I gave up and went up to sleep. Seriously let down by abysmal service - but they tell me that is how things are there. Unfortunately that doesn’t cut it for someone who is used to 5 star service globally - there is no excuse for that type of sloppy service in a place that bills itself as the creme de la creme.

    “Amazing Hotel!”

    Stay here for 4 nights, before I arrived I asked if a cake could be organised for the room, the cake wasn't there when I arrived. Such a shame. But other than that the hotel the staff and the scenery was amazing, I am looking to go back for a couple of nights in May. The bell boy and the staff at the front were so polite and amazing!

    “The remodeling is finally finished”

    , I stay in this Hotel every time i visit santo Domingo and now that is being remodel its great, the romos and 8th floor just s confortable y dont want to go anyweare specially in a city with a lot of trafiic

    “Outstanding Property”

    I cannot say enough good things about El Embajador. It is a gorgeous hotel with an incredibly friendly staff. From the moment you walk in, you are treated likely royalty. Very centrally located and reasonably priced as well-an excellent value. I would definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to Santo Domingo!
