    “Quiet resort with basic amenities”

    This resort is fine as long as you know what you're in for: quite isolated, it takes a half hour shuttle bus ride - that must be booked a day in advance - to get to the city and the action. It features tired, damaged furniture, fraying towels and very basic amenities. The buffet and bar are limited and the food only so-so. Except for one a la carte dining room, all the other public spaces are open air with thatched roofs. When it got windy in the evening, this became an issue. On the plus side, it's small so you can always find a poolside lounge, for instance. It's very clean and the grounds and pool areas are beautiful and well maintained. The staff for the most part is friendly but few speak anything other than Spanish. That's to be expected, considering that the majority of the guests are from other South American countries, which is a plus as far as I'm concerned. If you're looking for a basic, quiet, family-friendly spot, this resort will suit your needs.

    “Laid Back with Great Ocean Swimming”

    As you read my review know that all my recent experience all-inclusive resort experiences have been with 5-Star Secrets and Excellence resorts. What to like: laid back, no pressure and no selling. The staff appears happy and genuinely helpful. Very clean. The beach is private and although the vista lacks the bright blues and greens of Cancun, it’s all black sand with no rocks to stub your toe on while swimming. Very attentive lifeguard. A few hawkers of hats and massages, but low key. Good wholesome food, mostly Colombian fare. There were many families present with well-behaved children. Alcohol was enjoyed but not worshipped in excess. There are some environmentally conscious things they do. You get one towel at a time. You don’t get endless plastic bottles of water, but you can ask for a glass of water. You don’t get a straw with every drink. What to not let yourself be bothered by: mealtime can be haphazard because there doesn’t seem to be a system in place to welcome people to their table and provide water, coffee, etc. You will have to ask and be patient. There can be long lines for food. We stayed three days and enjoyed the variety; after that it might have gotten monotonous. Free shuttle into Cartagena takes about 40 minutes, but reserve early. Overall, a very easy place to relax.

    “Amazing”

    The experience was amazing, food was incredible, the staff always willing to help. They have an area for kids and another one for adults so you can choose. We had 4 rooms and had not issues at all. Also the WI-Fi is pretty good, you get reception everywhere. We had a great time and can only thank the stuff for going the extra mile and always smiling!!!!!

    “Excelent price/quality relation”

    For the price you receive more than you deserve. The best amenities in the Hotel are: - Friendly staff. - The 3 restaurants prepare delicious food, I was surprised with the difference of buffet , HUGE DIFFERENCE. - There are 2 pools, one for everyone including kids and the other one only for adults with quiet ambient(in the bar located there they don't prepare coctels using blender). - Free shuttle to the city at many different times previously seat reserved. Not good: - Small shower in the rooms. - Ocean view rooms is not as good as I expected (you can see only small Ocean part) - Only few liquors and if you want premium you can only buy the entire bottle. Optios: rum, tequila, vodka, agua ardiente, beer and some flavors. Not Campary, Jagger, baileys, etc., just the basic. - Small double bed. - There's activities inside the Hotel but not disco. - Not store inside to buy repellent or other stuff, if you need some medicines bring them. For a 3.5* hotel, is a good choice.

    “nice grounds and pools - free shuttle to town - wifi sucks”

    Nice enough all inclusive hotel - the pools are nice, as are the grounds - all well kept. Most staff speaks poor english (or not at all) - one waiter in the bar did not understand the word "beer" !! Wifi is horrible - disconnects all the time even near the reception. Food is not too bad, except the restaurant is not properly fenced in so you have birds flying all over the place - a loose dog as well was just walking around and nobody seemed to care. The so called filled minibar is not really a minibar - it has 2 beers and some soft drinks in it - thats it. Rooms are clean but lacks coffee/tea making facilities. Lots of satelite TV chanels, but none in English. For some reason, hotel facilities are not advertised so you have to figure out for yourself whats on offer.There is no information as to what food (snacks) are on offer and at what time so that too you have to figure out. The snacks turned out to be some sausages and french fries - not appealing at all. The main bar is poorly staffed, so getting anything served takes forever, Lots of power outages so charge your gadgets whenever you have a chance

Relative to the things to improve mentioned for you, we inform we have given special attention on it, checking everyone by everyone right when the corrective action has been made already. Currently we have with a staff who every day works in the garden department and takes cares the green spaces of the hotel. They also water and prune it. Add to this our restaurant La Palapa have 15 cycles menus which are just repeated twice monthly in the buffet service , what we must add the fact that right now our A&B department is making new designs for the menus, with the purpose to give them a more variety. In ascending order, We are glad to inform that a 60% of our worker speak a second language different than the native one and the other 40%, is learning the English idiom through some companies who has offer us some agreements to help us improve the communication between our guest and staff. The minibar has 4 sodas, 2 beers, and a water bottle ,is refill one time at day, but you can have more water if you need asking for it to the front desk without extra cost. i may mentioned guest have access to the bar drinks who works from 10: 00 am until 01: 00 am. There you can have as much beers, sodas, juice and different kind of drinks you want. Add to this, we are glad to inform, sooner we will offering the service of coffee machine in the room. The information about the hotel services as the schedule and details of it are given during the checking and after that you can see it on the boards located in the food areas. Now we got some maps which help you to get more information about the hotel locations.     The experience was amazing, food was incredible, the staff always willing to help. They have an area for kids and another one for adults so you can choose.
