    “lovely hotel although not in the best location”

    Not the ideal location for sight-seeing. Took at least 15 minutes to walk to anywhere of interest. Ideal if you are on a business trip. Breakfast was average with the usual choice however the cooked food could have been hotter.

    “Good location of hotel”

    Relatively good service but needs to update interior of rooms and breakfast area. Taste of food is quite ok. Suggest more choices. Fast check in and check out. Location is good. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Moreover, we lament reading that our buffet offer did not live up to your expectations as our professional Chefs strive to surprise our guests with a high standard gastronomy and the possibility to savor the best of the local cuisine as well as the finest international delights, however as we receive guests of all nationalities and ages, we do not over spice the dishes in order to please all palates, nevertheless there is a wide spice station in our buffet for our guests to help themselves and season their dishes to their liking. We also regret your words about the situation, just in the center of Granada. This point it´s really apreciated by most of our guests, and you have all the main monuments in a really short walking distance.     “Fabulous stay”

    “Occidental”

    Excellent large bed was very comfortable. Downstairs parking was easy. Breakfast buffet had a great selection of meats etc. Pleasant couple of nights, arrived 1am and all night desk was very helpful. Would rcommend

    “Decent place in good location”

    Rating place is always affected by several factors. I find the two to be the most influential, i.e. (i) what are are expectations, and (ii) what is the purpose of our stay. Since I travel a lot, my expectations are based on rich experience and in the end I can narrow them down to the following: a) cleanness, b) mattresses and pillows comfort, c) quality of service (in particular addressing problems when they occur), and d) location. The purpose of stay should define how much you really need some things in the room or a hotel in general. Based on my expectations and purpose of stay, this place really qualified as a decent one: clean, in good location, comfortable sleep, and quick reaction to reported problem with window in my room. Breakfast was a good one and the staff somehow managed to serve large groups of people in a very short time. Wi-Fi was of good quality.
