The Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento hotel is located 500 m from the famous Isla Mágica theme park, which was opened by King Juan Carlos I in 1997 and was the result of the redevelopment of some of the facilities from the 1992 Universal Exhibition of Seville.

When it opened, it was the first theme park located in a city in the world, as they are usually found away from the city centre. It centres around the discovery of America, in the same vein as the legendary ’92 Exhibition, which had the “Age of Discovery” as its theme. Agua Mágica opened inside the park in 2014 with an artificial beach, wave pool, water slides, children’s pools, lazy river and many other water attractions, which undoubtedly make it more appealing in warmer months.

When you book your hotel, you can buy tickets to Isla Mágica without going to the ticket office. During the last step, before entering your booking info, you can choose the Theme Park tickets extra. The cost of this extra includes entrance tickets for 2 adults and one or 2 children - depending on their ages and the season.
