Gastronomic restaurant with Two Stars in the MICHELIN Guide Spain 2024 and three Repsol suns led by the Padrón Brothers
At the head of the restaurant is Juan Carlos Padrón, the only Canarian chef to have received the prestigious distinction of Chef de L'Avenir from the International Academy of Gastronomy in 2017. He is accompanied by his brother Jonathan on the sweet side, and Raquel and María José, his respective partners, in the dining room and wine cellar.
Heirs to a saga linked to gastronomy that always transmitted to them essential values of effort, tenacity in work and constant search for excellence, they have been for years the restaurant with the most distinctions in the Canary Islands, highlighting the Two Stars in the MICHELIN Guide Spain 2024 and three Repsol suns.
The cuisine of Rincón de Juan Carlos is an author's cuisine, logical and well-founded, in which the diner can clearly appreciate the flavours without anything disguising the essence of the dish. The space? At 131 feet above sea level, with breathtaking views of the sea, it is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional restaurants on the islands. Completely remodeled and refurbished in 2021 so that the Padrón Brothers and their team could continue to grow gastronomically, it maintains the intimate and familiar character that has always characterized the Rincón de Juan Carlos thanks to the comprehensive renovation directed by interior designer Mercè Borrell, responsible, among other projects, for the 3 MICHELIN star restaurant Lasarte.
The wine cellar? María José and Raquel, sommeliers, lead the dining room and the wine cellar. A carefully selected wine list and wine pairings that accompany Juan Carlos and Jonathan's dishes to praise each other.
