    returned yesterday 14th march.First impressions .and presentable arrived at 10pm friendly reception staff at check in,first minus point she told us that as we had arrived at that hour the resteraunt would pen at 11 for some food good news (or so we thought).with this in mind went to find our room .retuned at 11pm to find resteraunt in darkness when we questioned this was handed a lunchtime pack lunch back no problem with this could have been given to us an hour before.so first morning breakfast usual All inclusive affair no problem quick walk about the site 3 pools clean and tidy room. our room was huge, bedroom and a living area kettle and cups etc supplied .large tv but unfortunatly only english channel was BBC world news. pools .3 pools one of which was alledgedly climatized but we found them all freezing.plenty of sunbeds but may be a problem in summer. food breakfast ok lunch and dinner we found pretty basic and not a lot of choice also seemed to be a lack of childrens menu.and why do all inclusive hotels asssume that you do not want tea/coffee at lunh or dinner and turn the machines off. staff. found all staff pleasent and helpfull no problems entertainment.daytime activites around the pool animation team asking for voulenteers to take part but not pushy.evening two night of singers brought in rest done by hotel team not that good also only lasted from 9.30-10.30 then nothing.cannot comment on childrens entertainment as we did not watch it. location .located at the top of a steep hill around 10 minutes walk down to playa arena beach where there is sunbeds for 3 euros also toilet facilites.supermarket next door to hotel which can be reached from a gate by the middle pool save walking down the hill.not many shops in playa arena . we travelled on the bus stops right outside hotel t o playa las americas very cheaply one point about the buses is that they do not give change above 10euro so dont try to pay with 20 or 50 euro notes as they will not let you on. martini resteraunt right oppisite hotel is excellant my wifes sirloin steak was huge . one last sour point a family we got friendly with whilst there.had a ground floor apartment and were burgled during the night whilst they were sleeping . to sum up we had a lovely holiday with not really anything to complain about,dont think we would return but only due to location

    “Family vacation”

    We loved the healthy options of food, and that it was fresh. Animators were very engaged, kids loved the mini disco, they really had energy and real smiles, the weather was perfect, we wish that next time water in the pools was little warmer

    “nice stay”

    This is a family orientated hotel so expect a lot of " children noise " . Saying that , as the hotel was pretty quiet due to Brexit , sandstorms and now coronavirus . We were concerned about the ongoing work being carried out on the main pool . This must be a contractual issue as it has been going on for over a year . It is basically the concrete flooring is breaking away . The hotel itself is fine apart from the rooms which are badly in need of a refurb . All the staff are courteous , polite and nice mannered . The food was a massive improvement from the last time we came . Entertainment was quite good given the amount of children around . . We did have a nice time , but not really for couples .

    “Noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in.”

    We are still at this hotel 8th night of 18. Room needs refurbishing, things falling apart, kitchen tap extremely lose, toilet roll holder lose, balcony chairs un safe to sit on, water went off at intervals for 2 days. Reported to reception most faults were rectified. No garden as advertised on website. Outside areas need attention. This is the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed at, there is constant noise either from the entertainment dept or outside noise. We are on the 4th floor. We have been to Tenerife 8 times staying in different hotels and this is the worst ever, will no be returning.

    “Not 4 stars - now.”

    The hotel has a problem with animation for children, children is very much in hotel. Animators act as if they do not know why they are there. Food very good. Rooms spacious, but bathtub dirty, windows and doors very leaky, cockroaches are also there.

We also regret that our Kids Club and our Happy Minds Programme couldn´t meet your expectations, because our concept of children entertainment aimed at expanding and stimulating creative, interpersonal and environmental sensibility through a well studied program of activities for each group of kids depending on the age range. We are very sorry to read that your kids didn't take full advantage of the wide array of activities organized by our mini club staff and sincerely hope they will join the activities on a future occasion. On the other hand, we sincerely regret reading that you found cockroaches in your room. We have in place a regular pest-control plan and of course work hard on a daily basis to avoid their presence within our grounds, however at certain times of the year, depending on the climatology of Tenerife, the presence of insects is unfortunately unavoidable. Furthermore, cockroaches need food, water, warmth and shelter for survival and this is why we have a very strict policy forbidding the taking of food from our restaurant and we also encourage our guests not to leave any food or crumbs in their rooms in order to avoid their settlement in our accommodations and we ask that you please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconveniences caused to you. Last but not least, it fills us with pride that you could enjoy the gastronomical efforts of our chefs as we strive to satisfy the many culinary wishes of our guests offering the most delicious international and local dishes. Although there is always room for improvement, we should be on the right path to earn a better rating from you in the future.
