    “Pleasant clean ambiance in heights overlooking Managua”

    This hotel is situated a bit outside of the center og the capital. Nice friendly reception. Pleasant parking and outdoors. Nice lobby and very nice clean rooms. Great breakfast one dinner is good! Definitely a great place. The outdoor area is wonderful and pool large and refreshing. Recommendable hotel!

    “Great Customer Service.”

    Living in the small village of Las Penitas, Leon, you sometimes forget that there is sophistication in Nicaragua. If you want to experience some, this is a good hotel to do it. Error in the reservation, "don't worry, let me get you checked in and I'll take care of that", A/C unit ratels, "Is it ok if I put you on the 5th floor, do you need assistance moving your things"....it's been a long time since I've experienced this type of service in Nicaragua! Everything you would expect from a higher end hotel, clean, well maintained, friendly staff, great Sushi Restaurant, an espresso machine that the bartender knows how to use and a great buffet breakfast (I hate buffets, so it must be good)! Top it all off with a Casino 50 paces across the lot....there you have it; a really good place to stay in Managua at a very reasonable price. I would have given 5 stars except those little irritants that they handled so well. I'll be staying with them every time I head into Managua! Oh and to the delight of my Husband, the hotel is Non-Smoking!

    “Just Phenomenal! A Must Stay!”

    A WOW! Each and every time I turned around! The rooms, staff, food options and recreational will never let you down! Went down for business but believe it was mostly for pleasure staying at this Hotel! Thank you Barcelo! ;)

    “Trying to squeeze every last dime”

    We felt during this stay the staff to be stingy and not really caring for customer comfort. When we arrived, they refused to give us the room upgrade we were entitled to, th e staff saying they knew nothing about the member benefit. We requested a baby crib and it took them 8 hours to get it sent up. We requested extra pillows as for a family of 4 including a heavily pregnant mama, we needed more. They had only one. We felt the staff were trying to rip us off and at no occasion did we feel they were bending over backwards or even a little to help out.

    “Painful Stay”

    We did our booking online. At that point they give you a rate that you agree to pay. When you show up at the Hotel, the front desk says they lost your reservation so they charge you a more expensive rate. I was overcharged 4 times despite showing my reservation and the agreed price online.

    “Great Customer Service.”
