Wanted somewhere to relax and recharge after a busy week. Could not have found anywhere better. Beautifull spacious room, great surroundings, idyllic pool area. The restaurant was excellent, good choice and high quality dishes. All staff were pleasant and helpful.

“Peace and tranquility, with plenty of activities on offer.”

We had four lovely days here, and having a hire car meant we could visit a few local towns closely. Very relaxing, first class service, not too many guests. Great for walking, cycling, tennis. The hotel is very traditional in style, but bang up to date in terms of service and facilities.

    “Great hotel”

A really pleasant stay at this wonderful hotel. Great food and excellent staff throughout. Stayed for a few days in early October 2017 so just outside the high season but the weather was great. Need a car to go anywhere off site, so most days spend in the hotel grounds and the surroundings.

    “Beautiful, luxurious, and comfortable”

This was our final hotel during our cycling holiday, and it was the perfect spot to celebrate a fantastic week of riding. Entering the grounds, you come up a long driveway lined with trees. The entrance is inviting and when you enter, the lobby can only be described as grand, with large picture windows filling the space with natural light. We were assigned room 56 - a very spacious and clean room overlooking the countryside and olive trees. The cutout in the wall that divides the sitting room and bedroom really opens up the space. The king bed was comfortable, but what I loved most was the washroom with the double vanity! The stand-up shower is large, and there is also a large soaker tub, perfect for quickly rinsing cycling clothes. Although there is no clothes line, we had a balcony, so we hung stuff out to dry. Our room attendant was observant and brought us a second luggage rack, which was very much appreciated. The outdoor pool area is...wow! You feel like you're in the Caribbean! It's an unbelievably large, lagoon-like area, with an attendant that will help set up your lounger and bring you towels and drinks (if you order). Not far from the pool is a turtle pond and a place to play horseshoes. Ask for a map of the grounds as there are other points of interest. Dinner at La Finca, their upscale restaurant, was good. My experience at El Cortijo, their more casual restaurant was less impressive as I found service to be very slow. The breakfast spread is good, with lots of fresh fruit, bread/pastries, cheeses, and deli meats. You can also order off a menu. This place really is a hideaway - a place to unwind and relax. it is only about an hour away (by car) to Granada.
