“Great week in a good hotel”

This was the fourth time we've stayed at this hotel, the last time being more than 3 yrs ago. Check in was very slow which was a pity because the staff were very helpful. Maybe a little transfer for arrival times between holiday companies and the hotel would help. Our room was great comfortable and clean, and kept that way for the full week by the very efficient housekeeping staff, storage space was adequate for our needs. The restaurant provides good quality food, presented well, with good variety, however, it can be a little repetitive. The serving staff are a real positive, always friendly and attentive without being over the top - George the restaurant manager keeps things moving very efficiently without rushing anyone to finish. The bar staff are also a nice bunch, however they are somewhat let down by the quality of the offering which is not the greatest, whilst it is all inclusive, it would be nice to have drinks which taste of something. Particularly bad were the wines - Occidental I think you can do much better!! The pool and entertainments staff are also great to deal with, and extremely hard working. On our last night, the hotel was hosting a commercial event which meant that guests were not able to access the main lobby bar, but to counter this minor inconvenience, the hotel put on a mini festival around the pool with bars (several), barbeque, DJ, dancers and other entertainment - the best nights entertainment that I’ve had on a holiday in a long while !! If you must go out, then Costa Teguise is a short walk or even shorter taxi ride away One minor note is that the beach to the rear of the hotel has largely been washed away, this is unfortunate as this was a great alternative to the pool. Overall the week was great, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you like mixing with other nationalities, and having a relaxing break particularly with family.

    “Loved this hotel! ”

Stayed here 21st November - 25th November this year (Monday - Friday) with my boyfriend & it's the best all inclusive i've ever stayed in! Everything was spot on & we couldn't complain at anything. The hotel overall is very modern & spacious & the rooms are the same - large balcony, modern decor & modern lighting. We paid for a superior double room with sea view - the bathroom consists of 2 sinks with double wardrobes & floor length mirrors on the doors. Then you walk through to the second part of the bathroom which has a rain shower head! Again, very spacious. On our first night we went back to the room to get a shower & the water in the whole hotel wasn't working so we took a walk to the shop over the road & back - we were gone only 10 mins & they had sorted the water problem almost instantly which was fantastic. Rooms were cleaned daily & fresh towels were provided. Tv on the wall also in the room - there are channels which play english films / tv programmes, you just have to change the language setting on the remote! Food was delicious at all times - if you struggle to find anything you like you must be a VERY fussy eater as they catered for everybody & there was always plenty to choose from. Different theme nights every evening as well which was a bonus. The drinks variety was perfect as well - Kopparberg mixed fruits on tap during the day at the pool bar along with spirits, beer etc. Pool snack bar which had burgers, hot dogs (tasted like Ikea hot dogs which were delicious!), chicken wings, chips, salad etc. Prosecco on tap on an evening with cocktails along with the usual beer & spirits. The mixers were also proper coca cola / fanta / lemonade etc which were nice with ice for a hangover! There is a little private beach towards the back of the hotel, literally a minute walk if that & it's very secluded - we went a few times & there were only 1 / 2 other couples there each time. Would recommend the coastal walk into the main bit of Costa Teguise - we went during the day for a bit of shopping (takes around half an hour to walk there but the views are great along the way) the shops were fab - my partner got a named top & some 100ml aftershave which worked out around £20 cheaper than in the one he saw in the airport which was a bonus (& it was legit!) One of the nights we went for a meal & drinks into Costa Teguise - we went to El Patio for a steak & it was the most amazing steak i have ever tasted. Wasn't too expensive either! We had cocktails in Captain Hooks (the best banana daiquiri in the world) & then went to Saxos & Dreams bar which had loads of drinks offers & great music for a dance :) All in all it was a fantastic stay & would definitely go back here in the future!

    “First Time in Lanzarote”

We have just returned from a 12 day break in Lanzarote and also our first time on an all inclusive package. Transfers too and from the Airport - Excellent Arrival and Check in were easy, quick and effecient. Throughout our stay we foumd the reception team very helpful in advising us with regard to buses, excursions etc. We had to pay £35 for 2 weeks full internet access, which was a surprise as Hotels in the Uk no longer charge anything. We were on the top floor where the signal was not that good, so a little dissapointed here. Housekeeping was excellent and our room was always well presented and clean. The Hotel was undergoing an upgrrade whilst we were there, with new fresco's in the main lounge area and a gradual changeover of furniture throughout the pubic areas. This was carried out sesitivily with no disruption to guests and looked great. The food in the main Buffet restaurant was always good and plenty of choice. I like fish and everyday there were plenty of seafood options to choose from. There is also an A La Carte restaurant, which was also very nice and worth a visit. We did not have any kids with us, but the Animacion Team worked extreemly hard looking after those that were there and had a full schedule for them. There was also a number of daily activities fro those who wished to take part. The evening entertainment ranged from singers, magicians, acrobats and Disco, something for everyone... We found all the staff to be very friendly and hard working, and would like to thank Saied on the Bar who made us feel particularly welcome and always had a smile and conversation. One previous reviewer commented on the poor level of English spoken by some of the Staff. Sure, some were not as fluent as others, but find me a Hotel in the UK where all the staff all speak Spanish!!!!! We found that a simple 'Ola, Buenos Dias' greeting each day, was appreciated by all and brought a smile o appreciation. First time in Lanzarote, Firts time all inclusive......Moi Bien!

    “Get things in perspective”

I feel compelled to try and dispel the flood of negative reviews posted by travelers about this hotel assuming that a Spanish hotel chain will care about the half term holidays in the UK without people in UK checking things before booking. Just returned yesterday from pleasant 4 day break at this hotel. First thing to establish- It is no use moaning about the weather and the temperature of the pool if you book a cheap winter break and you experience a bit of rain/cold.Even in Lanzarote February will still be winter! warm and wet being the climate. We had three days of showers and sunny spells with one day of sunshine which was in my mind acceptable. The much belied half term pool maintenance was just being completed when we arrived but the pool was still awaiting some warmth. Despite this quite a few kids where playing in the pool for extended periods without freezing to death and appeared to be quite happy doing so. I would suggest that this hotel has a five star potential which has been lowered to accept three star customers due to the economy. This hotel is an impressive building consisting of a series of atrium with rooms located on exterior aspects. This means there is a huge reception mezzanine floor (lift 0) with a large lounge bar area below lift(-1) which provides access to the pool and restaurant. Our room was perfectly adequate and the design of the building meant that all rooms area accessed by walkways that span atrium that overlook relaxing zen style gardens or palm filled oasis on the ground floor. Sadly the footsteps stomped around the raked sand in the zen gardens reflected the lack of appreciation of the concept by some guests. Food- I find it incredulous that so many people moan about the food being repetitive when there is such a huge choice of decent food on offer for every meal.Too many people appear to opt for a plate of chips and pasta when there is a huge choice of meat/fish/veg/salad/carbs/soup/fruit/desserts/cheeses/breads available. The huge choice of veg and salads should be enough for any imaginative veggie/vegan to feed themselves.I would question the excess of nuggets and chips being served for breakfast.Tips- there is a microwave provided if food is a bit cool, the coffee in the urn by the restaurant entrance at breakfast is better than the other machines and proper orange juice can be found at the smoothie bar. Room- nice spacious room with large balcony. We had a sea view in 229. Beach- this is rocky and not particularly inviting. Some sandy areas.. Transport- excellent bus service outside hotel. Also car hire available. Entertainment- Kids appeared to enjoy. Watched magic act which was okay. Entertainment and bars finish at midnight. Staff- All staff where very friendly and extremely hard working. Hygiene- This placed was cleaned continuously by cheerful staff. Overall a very pleasant stay offering great value and quite luxurious accommodation for the price..
