Before going back home, remember that some destinations require a COVID test certificate. Therefore, in collaboration with the laboratories, we can offer you the possibility of getting a COVID test at our hotels.

Your COVID test at the hotel

Request your COVID test at the hotel reception before 11 am. Depending on the collaborating centre, you will either be provided with a test kit or the health professionals will visit your hotel.

Receive your certificate

Once you have completed the test, you will receive an email or SMS with the results within 24 hours with your valid certificate so you can return home without restrictions. You will need to download it to show during your trip.

If your booking has been affected by COVID-19, the Barceló Hotel Group has made significant changes to its booking policy, offering 100% flexibility so you can postpone your booking up to 24 hours before your arrival for individual bookings with check-in dates up until 31 May 2021, subject to prior justification. You will have the option to change the date of your booking so that, when this has all passed, you can enjoy your stay sometime in the 12 months following the check-in date and of course still enjoy the best price guaranteed.

The use of masks is determined by the health authorities at all times. Currently, the general recommendations in Spain establish that the use of masks is compulsory for people over the age of 6, in outdoor areas and in public use areas.

It is also mandatory to use a mask on public, air, sea and rail transport, as well as in a private vehicle, if occupants are not of the same household.

The following general exceptions are established: people with disabilities or respiratory diseases, as well as practicing sports or consuming food and beverages.

These measures and exceptions may vary depending on the Autonomous Community. We recommend you verify the situation of each Community before your trip and always carry a mask with you in case it is necessary to use it during your stay.
