    “More view Then service”

Barcelo is deffenetly the rooftop bar to visit if you want a unique view of Valencia by Night, the Day i was there , the bar was less busy even though a saturday,, The lights of Valencia opens as the Sun sets and you Will enjoy the magnificent view. One could have expected more service from the staf, but i guess thats a normal thing at a turistic venue..:-(

    “Good place to stay”

This hotel is lovely, the rooms are nicely decorated and are rather spacious. It’s clean and because we stayed at the back of the hotel (3rd floor, not the best view - specially because the hotel wasn’t full, so a nice gesture to give us a room higher up and with some sort of view would go a long way!) it was very quiet. The blind curtains are amazing, room was very dark - great for a good night sleep. Because of the design on the rooms, I don’t think the toilet had a good one, awkward doors to get in and not much space around you. Also, very careful when you wake up in the middle of the night to go to the loo, because is very dark, if you leave the wardrobe door closed, you have this square thing on the floor right on the way - I have kicked twice hurting my toes a little bit, so extra care. Another thing, I do understand hotels need to make money but €19 for breakfast is a bit of a rip off, you can go just cross the road and there is a cafe (dulce de leche) with lovely breakfast and we paid around €12/15 for 2 people. Is a nice area with the beautiful City of Art and science just on your door steps, but if you want to be by the beach, the hotel is not that close (bus 19 will take you there in 10mins thou). Is not close to the old town either (about 20/25mins walking) so if you are looking for the hustle and bustle of Valencia on your door steeps, you might want to stay somewhere else then. The too floor has a nice bar, so nice for an end of the day drinks. There is a nice and small area for sunbathing with the tinny pool 🏊‍♂️ (very tinny indeed) but still a nice space to chill.

“Excellent place to stay nearby the main attractions of Valencia”

Excellent place to stay nearby the main attractions of Valencia, such as the Oceanarium, and not far from the coast and beaches. Very good rooms for meetings, modern rooms very clean, excellent breakfast.

    “great hotel, perfect location”

We have just returned from a 3 night stay, B&B. We stayed in room 315, which overlooks the main road - some noise could be heard late into the night - but this is traffic and nothing to do with the hotel. Polite staff at reception, speedy check in and check out. Excellent choice at breakfast - hot, cold food, cereals, fruit etc, great fresh orange juice. Perfect location for city and the beach, we took taxis as the weather was so hot, but could walk to both - in different directions - in about 30 mins. We ate in the restaurant - very tasty food, and good value. Both bars are well equipped, with friendly staff. Hotel spotlessly clean

“let down by very poor staff in roof terrace bar”

good hotel and reception staff but let down by very poor and rude staff in roof bar, arrived late but told bar was open until midnight so went for a drink at 23:45 to be told we could not go in, we had driven for 6 hours to get there, there were many people still in the bar who stayed a long time so it was no problem if we had a quick drink. the manager gave us a free drink voucher for the next evening which took 45 minutes to arrive as only 2 staff and then the waiter argued with us about the voucher saying it was only for beer, it clearly said beer or cocktail on it, and we should have told him earlier as he had now put it as cash on the till, he should have sorted it out without arguing with us especially as the voucher was for the poor service we had the night before , need more staff and proper customer service training, won't return to the roof bar!
