    “Barcelo Royal Level”

    Would definitely go again upgrade well worth it. Other than running out of beer at the beach bar the service at the royal level was excellent. The hotel food was good and the beach is great, love the fact that we could get floats for free for the day.

    “Day Pass to Barcelo Aruba during Cruise Stop!”

    Our one day stay was amazing. We arrived from the cruise port and were some of the first guests to arrive. Our group consisted of three adults and a 14 year old. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Towels were provided. The buffet breakfast was incredible (too bad I ate on the ship - I won't make that mistake again). We proceeded out to the beach area and picked out our main location for the day. We spent the day going back and forth between the pool and the beach. Lunch was great and we enjoyed the bar areas as well. Other reviewers have mentioned that the bar ran out of various kinds of alcohol but we did not experience that. Overall, we had a wonderful day and enjoyed the beach, pool, bar service and food. I would definitely return, just wish I had another trip to Aruba scheduled.

    “Best way to celebrate a milestone birthday!”

    We love the Barcelo! The women at guest services, Marolyn, Ivette and especially Belinda were so helpful, friendly and kind. We had a beautiful suite on the top floor with a gorgeous view of the ocean. We could hear live entertainment from the pier just down from the hotel.The grounds are well kept, everything is clean and maintained. The entire staff from the cleaning people, maintenance, wait staff (especiallly Renaldo)- was friendly and happy. The food is very good in all of the restaurants but the Mexican and Japanese were our favorites. I will definitely be going there again.

    “Not what I expected”

    We did not have a good experience at this hotel. They were constantly running out of food and would not replace. Their favorite answer "all gone". The service and friendliness of the staff was not good with exception of 3 (Yuri and I can't remember the other 2). The service of waiters by the beach terrible. The only time they were nice if a tip was involved. They have you an attitude and one would just stand there talking to other staff members and will not do his job. The room were not clean like they should. Coffee maker not cleaned and coffee not replaced until you ask them to. The bathroom needs an exhaust fan and the smell at times was bad from the pipes. Wifi was only available at the lobby for 1 hr daily after that you have to pay. I did not care much for wifi but coming with my 10 yrs old son that was a big deal. Aruba was beautiful. I will come back but not to the Barcelo.

    “20 YR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY”

    My Husband and I spent a week at this resort and while there were a few snags, our stay was overall excellent, I had a massage at the spa which was wonderful, the wifi is not the best, very slow. The food is decent, in the buffet, they really should work on the variety a bit. The entertainment was nice. Overall this is a very nice resort. Staff are very hospitable and attentive.
