    “A super vacation!”

    This was our first time in Aruba and totally enjoyed this resort! We were upgraded from garden view to ocean view, got to our rooms(2) where a bottle of wine and chocolates were waiting! Recommend making restaurant reservations before getting there, made ours online. Especially enjoyed the Italian and Japanese restaurants, great food! Not a big buffet fan, but lots of choices. Breakfast buffet had an egg station, evening buffet had a pasta station, very fresh. Limited lunch options, either the big meal buffet or lighter fare at the Beach Club(buffet), including burgers/hot dogs/fries available for the kids. One BIG negative during our one week stay, NO bar servers while on the beach, NOT ONE! Consequently, every time we wanted a drink, had to walk up to the bar, NOT acceptable for this level of resort! Saw one staff member walk by with bottled water, asked if we could have one and were told this was for the "Royal guests" only, what?? Refused water...definitely not acceptable!! The hotel staff are very friendly, rooms are super clean. Should give guests written information as to where to get floats and how to access free non motorized water sports equipment, never did figure it all out, even after asking for direction. MANY more positives than negatives, a wonderful three generation family vacation with many fabulous memories made......loved our experience!

    “Would never stay anywhere else ”

    This is my first review of this resort, after many years of staying here. The hotel grounds and rooms are extremely clean. All rooms have balconies, with ocean views, we prefer poolside room. We love upgrading to the Royal Club, Sandra Steba is in charge of guest services in Royal club, she has an excellent staff. They always go above their job description for ALL GUESTS, first timer or 50th stay.. Royal Club restaurant on the ninth floor, is our favorite dinner choice. Also like the Bar on the beach reserved for Royal Club only! The first club is for timeshare owners, where Belinda and Marolyn usually check our friends in. The security maintains safety for the guests, nobody's gaining access to the hotel grounds unless you're staying here. The bellmen, bartenders and wait staff have years of service. I think most repeat guests have their favorites, I have many, but have known some longer than others. Breakfast, always a pleasure Seeing Zotina, Theo, Beth and others. Elizabeth and Sherwin at lunch. Dinner, Lolio Armando, Joyce, Marlon are a few. Other staff for dinner, Fannie, Carmen, Perlita, George, Myrna, so many others. Bartenders are the best, love them all. Mike, Angela,Roddy, Erwin, Erik, Maricar, Eric, Cesar, Paris, Allan and Enrique. The beach at the hotel is the best on Palm Beach, always clean. If there was one thing I could change? It would be that we stayed longer and more often!! If you want a resort that has everything, this is where you need to stay..

    “Always Treated Like Family ”

    My family visits this resort every summer and year after year we are treated like family by the staff. Sandra Steba goes above and beyond every time to ensure that our stay is comfortable and memorable. She takes care of all of our requests with a smile on her face and always makes us feel at home. We love her and this resort and can't wait to go back next year!

    “Royal Service at Royal Club”

    Returned from a fabulous week at this resort. It was our first time upgrading to The Royal Club, WOW!!! Our check in was handled on the 9th floor, the top floor of the resort. Upon arrival we were greeted with drinks and checked in with Sandra Steba. She was amazing, made all our dinner reservations and helped with my husbands quest to find a reputable deep sea fishing charter.. Sandra's recommendations were perfect in all our desires for our vacation. The Royal Club restaurant on the 9th floor is reserved for only Royal Club guests, we had our own bar on the beach.. We're definitely returning, no more Riu for our family!!! The beach was excellent, we had the best vacation ever in Aruba!!! See you all soon..

    “This hotel is amazing and right in the middle of everything!”

    We went on this trip because my 2 best friends and I all turned 40 this year. We decided instead of a party we would all go away together along with our husbands. We could not have picked a better place to go. My one friend and her husband are owners and belong to the first club which was a great experience in itself. We got to check in in a private room and had the best people helping us. Marion and Ivette made sure we were comfortable and made sure we had a drink in our hands. To start the vacation off they upgraded the rest of us to the same first club room as my friend the owner which are basically 2 rooms put together one side is the living room with a bathroom and the other side is the bedroom with another bathroom. This was amazing! The restaurants on premise are very good. Being from N.Y. I'm pretty picky about restaurants and I can tell you for an all inclusive resort the food is great. My favorite was the hibachi restaurant. Elmo the waiter went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and we had drinks at all times. The beach service is hit or miss. It wasn't until the 2nd time we went we figured out how to get them to keep coming to us. Being we were on a couple only vacation celebrating a milestone without kids our priority was eating good and drinking lots. We found Gary the beach waiter on our 2nd beach day and we were beyond happy. We told him exactly what we wanted and he didn't disappoint. I read some reviews before going about the staff not being nice but I didn't see any of that. These people are there to assist you and are great at their job. Every day at the pool they did some kind of competition thing that was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and can't wait to go back!
