    “Second Trip Was Better Than the First!”

    My husband and I went to this resort in May of 2010 for our honeymoon and loved the resort and experience tons. So much so, we went back with friends this past July! What an awesome experience! I can't say enough about the staff here. They're so friendly and caring. They really make the effort to get to know you and be a part of your experience. The highlights were definitely Sonia & Jesus. We built such great relationship with them while we were there. They were so considerate of us and really made an effort to enhance our trip. They were so involved in the games and activities, as well as checking in with us at meal times and then for evening activities! Likewise, Aurelio, Eric and the staff in the mediterranean restaurant were impeccable! They gave some of the best service I have experienced in my life. My husband and I are foodies and we eat out quite often in 5 star restaurants, but their treatment of us was FANTASTIC. Better than anything I've ever experienced or seen. We went back again because it was just so amazing. Cannot recommend this resort enough!!

    “Jesus- activities coordinator”

    I think this was the best vacation my husband and I have ever had. The staff was both friendly and courteous, but more importantly they all made us feel like we were family while we there. Jesus did a fantastic job of staying upbeat and delivering lots of fun in every activity that we participated in. He paid special attention to memorizing our names- there were 6 in our group. This is a great resort. We hope to visit again and again!

    “Great hotel, great vacation-however-buyer beware!”

    We spent 10 days there recently and found that most of the glowing reviews posted here are well deserved, However, we did decide to sign up for 1 of the time share packages, as we were promised 5 business days to change our minds and receive a full refund of our deposit on our credit card which amounted to almost $1900 if we changed our minds.. We did cancel within 5 days, and have a cancellation agreement signed by both the seller and us.The contract stipulated that the refund would be posted to our credit card within 15 business days. After no refund was posted, in short, we got the run-around, with no one getting back to us by phone or e-mail. We filed a dispute with the credit card company, and they have refunded our money and will go after the time share company,,,.(Major kudos to Capital One Bank here!!!) If we don't hear back from Capital One within 90 days, the issue is resolved. The only negative thing we can say about the resort is that there is no escape from the really loud and annoying music that is played at the beach pool all day. It is loud even on the beach. It wouldn't be so bad if there was any kind of variety in the type and beat of the music, but it is just a relentless assault of Mexican techno pop. Ironically, at the night time shows, the guests appeared to really favor North American music from the last half century. We would have loved to have heard ANY traditonal Mexican music, and at a reasonable sound level. This alone will prevent us from going back there again.Glad we canceled that contract! Hopefully this will be resolved amicably, but you should never have to fight for your money back if it is promised to you.

    “Excellent resort, would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit Cozumel”

    The resort is beautiful, the beach is great, the rooms are clean and large, the staff is great, and there is always something to do during the day thanks to Felix, Jesus, and Raul who did an excellent job running activities. The only downside is that most of the food wasn't very good. There were some things that were delicious but they were few.
