“Very little sleep for 7 nights”

There was a private party of some 200 people of an orthodox religious faith at the hotel for the entire duration of our stay. It was like a wedding every night and I didn't get to sleep much before 2am. We moved rooms 3 times but the rooms we were given were not sufficiently far from the function suite. I blame only the hotel for this. They either should not have taken other guests or have given advance notice upon booking. We did not feel well treated especially given the high rates being paid.

“Far from 5 star or best of Spain”

We stayed in the apartments for 3 nights over Easter. Very very disappointing for the price. It’s a strange hotel. Feels more like it should be in Florida than Europe. None of the European charm ( or American service). They have some “heated outdoor pools” - which were an attraction for the kids - but were absolutely freezing. The apartments are very nice but very poorly fitted our ( no kettle for example). It’s also very hard to get a coffee here ( weird). There was a big Jewish event here and they seemed to enjoy it. Another strange thing is that they advertise having a bowling alley, but its in an Irish bar (really?) that only opens at 8. Indoor pool... opens at midday. Very wrong on many fronts.

    “Mediocre hotel ”

We found this hotel generally below a standard we would expect for a 5 star. Firstly it is not in cadiz . It is 40 minutes drive away and the nearest town is 10 minutes drive away. There were some good things about the hotel ; good breakfast, comfortable bed, big bedroom and great spa . However there were many frustrations; parking is not free, hotel restaurants very expensive, no dressing gowns in the room and reception staff not friendly when we advised them. Spa circuit great but it's not free. Lighting and other room controls from a control pad which makes finding the light for the toilet in the night a challenge. Bath plug didn't fit. Tv stand crooked. Lots of little things that led to a slightly irritating experience.

“2nd visit to beautiful hotel/apartments. Luxury”

Here we are on our 2nd visit to hotel. We were so glad to return. Stayed in apartment 1801, on ground floor. Overlooking gardens and family pool. Great views of sunsets. Small tip. Lots of people walk past and do shortcut to pool. But there is no path! Maybe an idea management make few steps down to family pool near the jacuzzi. Apartment lovely. Spacious. Individual Air con in each room to suit everyone. Just as remembered. A nice welcome bottles of water in fridge. Toiletries in both bathrooms. Supermarket nearby to get groceries and can park car right under apartment in secure car park. Hotel reception staff welcoming and friendly when arrived, offering us water and wine in arrival. Ate a few times in buffet. Food tasty and lots of choice. Grounds of hotel beautifully landscaped. Pools fantastic. And was pleased family pool was heated. Kids loved the slide. Beach just a short walk thru the gardens. Beach amazing. Went on for miles. Used restaurant by pool/ sunset bar. Food amazing. Visited Irish bar and played 10 pin bowling. Amazed by the facilities within the hotel. All staff helpful and attentive. On our day of checking out we were allowed a late check out at no extra cost and a leaving drink of a bottle of cold water for our journey. Would definitely recommend and hopefully return for a 3rd visit soon. Thank you for amazing luxurious hospitality.

    “Simply amazing”

Staying with you allowed me to experience first hand why you are voted the best hotel in sancti petri. You cater for all ages. You have regular various activities each day to keep young children, teenagers and adults busy and entertained. You have a balance of fitness and fun experiences: from disco, pub games, zumba, cheese/salted fish and wine tasting to water activities for all ages. Your buffet breakfast is impressive. We had it for six days and we always have some new things to try each day with variety of healthy options. Your nutritionist corner with all its freshly made juices from detox to energy boost and anti ageing is a nice touch. You have a themed buffet dinner and adjacent to it, one can unwind with a hot or cold drink while listening to live piano music. This I found not just entertaining but also very relaxing. You have designed your pools in a way in which adults and children will have enough choices for privacy and fun. Your spa is wonderful. From our apartment, my family have enjoyed almost 180 degrees of breathtaking views and watched the sunset and sunrise with awe. The unspoilt La Barrosa beach is nearby with private access from the hotel. Above all else, what sets you apart is your amazing staff. Your hospitality is heartwarming. One of your male staff from the apartment reception went through the effort of calling a store to ensure that they have charcoal as we were looking for one for our bbq on the rooftop terrace and jacuzzi. When we needed the time and a place to stay while we waited for our flight back home, you allowed us to stay for a few hours ( of course subject to availability). You were more than helpful when we needed directions and a taxi. Lorna from the hotel reception went through all the trouble of looking for a car for hire when we needed one. Your staff in the main reception made us feel welcome when we arrived on the 21st October late afternoon. You were quick to assist when we had little issues with our safe and air conditioning. Every single member of staff had a greeting with a smile. Your staff are gems and your hotel is outstanding.
