    “Avoid this place at all costs”

    We wasted 10 days of our holiday at this place. The staff were unhelpful- especially management. The rooms were dated, sub-standard and lacked cleanliness. The shower would cut out, the toilet wouldn't work. Linen was dirty, restaurants were bad. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy free-for-all buffets with poor quality food (one night spam fritters!) I personally would not go back, nor would any of my family.

    “Amazing Holiday”

    I just love this Hotel with its friendly staff, great food and gorgeous views. It is always very clean and the repairs that needed doing to our shower were taken care of immediately. The children's club staff were wonderful with our 7 year old Daughter and we felt completely at ease leaving her in their care. It was our second year at this hotel and we received a lovely card and fruit basket off the staff for our loyal return. We will certainly holiday here again, just stunning.

    “Family holiday”

    We stayed here all inclusive as a family group of six ,Five adults aged 28-57 and one child aged 7.We found the rooms very basic with no kettle tea or coffee and no fridge to keep water cool,Water was only available to take away from either the pool or beach bars the other option is to buy from vending machines. The restaurant food was very bland often cold the choice is very limited ,one night the main choices were octopus ,squid ,snails and such like,The food we did try was poor quality and it was a game of roulette as to what you got as the labels above the dishes did not always correspond to what you got my wife chose a dish that was labelled as battered fish and ended up biting into battered artichoke ,As we had paid for all inclusive we visited the restaurant every night hoping to find something to eat unfortunately we ended up going out to eat on three nights ,we have had numerous all inclusive holidays and this was the first where we have had to eat out ,we were not alone in doing this so it wasn't us being fussy . The outdoor swimming pool is SALT WATER which is not mentioned on the web site this was another put off for us(do not know what the water is in the in door as we did not use ) .Sun loungers with parasols are a premium and to get any you have to queue from about 8 am till the pool opens at 9am,we witnessed one guest jumping the wall behind the snack bar to avoid queuing (no guesses for which nationality ),The most annoying thing about having to do this was that some put towels out at 9am and at 6pm they still had not been used this something the hotel really needs to address . All this said we did not allow these problems to spoil our holiday ,We feel we did not get value for money and would not return to this hotel ,It is rated as three star but should be no more than two at best.Its only good point is that the majority of staff are helpful and friendly ,unlike a lot of the guests who are rude and ignorant

    “Nice location, pool area a little small”

    The location of this hotel was good with a reasonable length walk taking you into central Cala d'Or. The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. The swimming pool area was too small for the number of guests at the hotel in high season and there is no separate kid's pool which means this one gets a bit chaotic! The sunbeds away from the pool, that had to be paid for, were in a quieter location, far from the pool but close to the steps down to the sea. What I found mildly ridiculous though was that once your sunbeds had been unlocked they remained chained together a mere 6 inches apart which meant that that they could not be moved at all! Very frustrating as the sun moved round quite rapidly and we could not follow or even have a table in between the beds!!

    “Good Hotel”

    Recently back from a weeks stay at this hotel and generally found it very good. The hotel rooms were clean and tidy and ours had a lovely view of the beach and cove. The aircon was much needed and room service was good. The hotel swimming pool was a salt water pool so that took a bit of getting used to and there should definitely be a better system for using and obtaining the small amount of sunbeds around the pool area. The entertainment around the pool was cheesy to say the least and more variety would have been better. Similarly there was a lack of any entertainment from early evening until the kids shows started around 9pm and the hotel could do with some music around the pool during these times. The food was varied and good quality but the it would have been better if the snack bar on the beach and around the pool provided a little longer service Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would probably go back again.
