    “Do Not Pay before checking your room.”

    We had booked 6 nights in this “Adults Only” hotel on a half board basis. Firstly this is NOT an Adults Only hotel it is a family hotel with an Adults Only Section. When we arrived there were children running riot around the lobby. We were directed to a small hall off the main lobby which is the Club Premium Section. We were given bucks fizz and asked to pay in full for our 6 days, then we were shown our room. It was tiny, dark and when we went out on to our balcony and sat on the chairs provided we were looking into a blank concrete wall, all you see was the sky. All that was separating you from the next door neighbour was a piece of garden trellis centred in the middle of adjoing wall with gaps at either end, you could also see your neighbour through the trellis. We asked for a change of room which was the same except for a lower wall on balcony but instead two planks of dark wood. This was another dismal room. Both these rooms did overlook the adults only pool/poolbar and restaurant area which was nicely laid out. It was suggested that we view a Suite, when we went to see it, the room was again dark, huge and under furnished and certainly not up to the extra cost of €80prpn. Quite by fluke I discovered more Club Premium Rooms at the other end of the hotel. To get to this room we had to go through heavy steel Fire Doors from the Lobby to the sleeping area which was "Club Premium", however it had a much better aspect, as it was on ground floor there was no balcony just a terrace with and a wonderful view to the sea, the down side of this room was that when you came out the main door of your room it overlooked a whole service area, bottles laundry etc. when we went to bed we then discovered that it was over the theatre which was on the lower ground floor where there was a children’s disco but did stop 10pm ish. The 2nd night there was a flamenco show going on!! When I see Adults Only I imagine Calm, Comfort and Serenity and Adults Only means just that not just a bit stuck on at the end. We were given a map of the hotel/resort and it would take one dam good cartographer to understand it, it was impossible to find one’s way around what with floors, half floors etc. There was one indoor Club Premium Bar, it had two TVs one with soccer and the other with snooker, this was Club Premium. Outside this bar was an indoor area with about 4 comfortable chairs and a sofa, it was so cold we were shivering and there was no effort by staff to make it warmer. In fact with the exception of MariaLuis and Marianna in the Club Premium Guest check-in area who helped us with our disappointment the staff had a no care attitude, cushions on sun beds just left lying out with puddles of rain on, canopy beds with their metal bars on banging off the rails all through the night through a storm which was known to be coming. The buffet dinner was quite good, the breakfast limited, no muesli or sugar free natural yogurt. The dinner in other Adults Only Restaurant was good but food went cold quickly because the ambient temperature in the restaurant was very chilly. After 1 night we gave notice to leave and return to the Hotel in Corralejo from where we had come, it was a fabulous place with every member of staff being exceptional. Morana in “guest relations “ helped us change our plans. However we had to pay one night’s stay €181.20 in order to leave which was in the contract but I wonder why a hotel has to put that in a contract at all if they have any faith and confidence in the product they are selling? This was meant to be Club Premium at Royal Level it was niether Premium or Royal. More like an airport departures hall with less comfort. Will I go back definitely not. Please note it is a good 15minutes walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to the town. It should be said when we returned to the original hotel we did get a note of apology/regret, fruit place and bottle of Cava from Marianna in Club Premium Services which was appreciated.

    “Double Celebration!”

    My wife and I chose this hotel after careful consideration as it was to be a double celebration - a Birthday and our Anniversary. We were not disappointed!! Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by our smiling receptionist and offered glasses of Cava whilst we booked in, which was much appreciated after our long journey. Our ground floor room overlooked the pool and the sea - WOW! The room was spacious and excellently maintained and re-stocked with toiletries. The fridge had beer, wine, soft drinks and water upon arrival and a lovely touch was the Cava and Chocolate for our special occasions. We mostly ate in the dining room overlooking the Atlantico Premium Pool where there was always an excellent choice of food. Breakfast you could choose from cereals, breads and toast. fruit, cakes and pastries, to a continental selection or Full English where your eggs, omelettes and crepes were cooked to order. Lunch and Dinner were equally good, with a full selection of starters, main courses and sweets to choose from and if you wished, you could have freshly cooked meat or fish. Everything was tastefully presented and delicious! Drinks were served at the table by always smiling waiters and waitresses. For our special occasions we ate in the Al A Carte restaurant where our table was reserved for us and had been specially decorated on both occasions and the attentive waiters served us with Cava, wine, water and our choice of food. We had an excellent dining experience on both occasions. Wherever we went, whatever we were doing we were pampered by the attentive and smiling staff, whose one aim seemed to keep the guests happy - thank you to all. My wife would sunbathe whilst I sat in the shade and wherever you sat round the pool you would be continually served by the barman (sorry I can't remember his name), with drinks, fruit, water and - my wife's favourite coffee topped with ice cream (yum)!! Oh and not to forget tea and cakes served in the afternoon at the bar - our waistlines may never recover!! After our evening meal we had a drink in the Green Bar where we would socialise with friends we had met the previous day and where the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly - and the barmen always remembered your particular drink preferences!! Thank you to all staff for making our holiday so special. See you next year.

    We had a very nice stay at the hotel in the adult area. The all inclusive was very good. The service from restaurants and bars were very good. The cleaning of room was perfect. Service at pools was also very good. We would like to return next year.

    “Might be the best holiday we've had so far.”

    If you want to relax and be pampered by helpful staff in a very comfortable environment with excellent bar and restaurant facilities then this would be a good choice of holiday. It was more expensive than our usual type of holiday but it was well worth it overall.

    “6 day winter break”

    My wife and I opted for the all inclusive package and stayed in a suited room with exceptional sea views. To watch the sunrise at the beginning of each day was a treat. We found the mini bars to be well stocked and enjoyed spending the afternoons with a cold drink, whilst watching life go by below. We chose to eat our breakfast and lunch at the restaurant by the heated pool. The food and staff were always just what was needed and added to the pleasure of our stay. Each night except Friday, we chose to eat at the A La Carte restaurant and found the food and staff here to be a cut above. The food was imaginative, well presented and cooked to a very high standard. On our return back to the UK we have rebooked the hotel with the same package again, for the same time next year.
