    “Beautiful place and great service!”

    My wife and I stayed here for 5 days. We are not hard to please, so we took a chance based on some reviews. We were pleasantly suprised. Beautiful beach and pool areas. Great food in the restaurants and buffet. We stayed in a superior ocean front room. Beautiful views and maid service cleaned daily. King bed was firm and comfortable to our liking. Only complaint is the WiFi service per person is expensive and you pay extra if you want it. Overall, we would come back and recommend this place if you are not picky. Catch the Michael Jackson Impersonator show, it was a blast from the past.

    “Great for kids”

    This is a very good place to visit with kids. My daughter had a blast. 4 seimming pools including a pool just for kids. Rock climming, casino, is an all inclusive. Best of all is ammenities for premium clients. Mr. carrasco head of security was great.

    “Don’t go here!!!”

    I had giving this resort a great Review in August of 2017 after visiting with my children for 5 days, I thought the rooms were comfortable and the service and food were delicious so I decided to plan and bring my entire family to spend 7 days at this resort and celebrate My aunts 70th birthday and my 40th!! Omg what a mistake I made!!! The minute we got there the service was hurrible!!! Our rooms were dirty and disappointing!! Old beds and smell horrible, the lights in my room wouldn’t even turn on, After calling the receptionist for help as soon as we got to the room and there was no electricity, someone showed up after 30 minutes, moving our bed and supposedly fixed a wire behind our bed and fixed the light! Little did we know that the next Morning as we stepped out of our room for breakfast 20 minutes later I would get a call from my kids who had a room right next to mine saying to please hurry up and come because there was smoke everywhere! I ran to our room to find it filled with smoke, because our bed had caught fire and we lost all our belongings!!! This fire ruined my vacation! And then after all this horrible time, getting a refund from them for only my hotel stay was a nightmare

    “Occidental Caribe”

    Just got back from 2 weeks at the Occidental Caribe. (Nov.24, 2018 - Dec. 8, 2018) We really enjoyed our stay. Francisco Maldonaldo at reception was awesome. Every time we saw him he greeted us with a big smile and a high-five He was always ready to answer our questions and help out in any way he could. The bar staff were all great. The beach was always nice and clean, no seaweed. The pools were great. If your are not crazy about loud music go to the pool at the far end of the resort near the kids pool. We called that the quiet pool. In all we had a tremendous time and loved every minute of it. Would not hesitate to go back. Jon at the Tokyo Restaurant was awesome.Kept us entertained with his skill and great sense of humor. He made the dinning experience that much better.

    “Good and bad”

    Just got back, 8 days at occidental caribe Punta cana. Traveled with my 2 daughters , hotel is beautiful , clean and well maintained , rooms large and modern. I had 3202, ocean view,well stocked mini bar, tub and shower, no complaints at all. Buffet food varied and good, best resto. Was Japanese worst was Dominican .pools are great, beach beautiful but very little Shade. Worst part of the trip was lack of service and evening entertainment . The lobby bar's have table and chairs but the chairs are so uncomfortable that you don't want to be thereleased too long. Theater showsystem are really bad, very disappointing, bar has a sax player who is fantastic . All and all a nice place to be but be prepared for lack of service and entertainment .
