    “I like Occidental Lisboa hotel !!!”

    My warmest regards to Ladies on the Reception desk and also whole team of Occidental Lisboa !!! Very good service and accomodation. I would recomment this Hotel to my friends. Clean rooms, friendly staff !!!

    “Nice hotel with very good breakfast”

    We went there for my birthday weekend. The hotel is a little far by foot from the center of the city but not far from the airport. The rooms are very clean but the bed are a little too soft. The staff knew it was my birthday because my boyfriend had planned something but it would have been nice to get an extra attention from the staff for the occasion. Breakfast was very good. Three bad points : - the AC wasn't working in our room and we had to change it and it was barely blowing in the new room. - We traveled as a couple and ended up in a room with twin beds (while booking it was mentioned twin beds OR double beds but we forgot to mention a preference (booking months in advance) and no one asked us) - There is a touristic tax to be paid once you leave and no one told us when we arrived, so it's kind of an upleasant surprise I wouldn't say it's 4 stars more 3,5 but overall it was a nice stay.

    “Super for a short stay in Lisbon.”

    We had a short stay here as we were only going to sleep for the night. Location - relatively central location in Lisbon not too far away from El Corte Ingles and Marques de Pombal. Lobby - Small lobby with a seating area. Room - Decent size room that looked really new and pretty. Bathroom was also nice and bed was comfortable. Dining - Only had breakfast there which had a quite good selection of food. Nothing spectacular, but for the price of the hotel really good. SPA / Pool / Gym - Not sure if they had in the hotel. WIFI - Worked without any problem. Service - we were arriving really late and the staff gave us late check out, so we could sleep a bit more. Even though we checked out earlier it was really nice service. Cleanliness - Seemed really clean and tidy in room and breakfast area

    The hotel was quite good. - Breakfast was very simple. This level of breakfast is served in 2-star hotels not 4. + Cleanliness of the room and hotel was good. + Comfort of the room was good. The hotel was quite far from city attractions

    “Deceptive information about the hotel ruined our trip”

    To advertise it as "in the heart of Lisbon" is disingenous to a tourist who will believe it is in the heart of the tourist area. Instead we had a 25-30 min commute each day, each way to get to the heart of Lisbon. The room was fine, but right by a busy road and not far from the airport so noisy. And we stayed for 5 nights without a change in bedding or new toiletries in the room. Not good for a 4* hotel. The hotel boased an a la carte menu - but didn't offer this at all. Instead there was a mediocre buffet. It also boasts 2 bars - but when we were there the bars were shut and although on one night they allowed us to have an end of day (9pm) drink in the restaurant, on another occasion they just refused to serve us a drink. (We are 60+, perfectly respectable people who just wanted to wind down after a day of sightseeing).

At Occidental Lisboa, we try harder every day, with the objective of a full warming experience at our hotel, and in the beautiful city of Lisboa, We are 5 minutes walking distance from “Parque Eduardo Setimo”, and 10 minutes away from the famous Avenida da Liberdade, although we are 25 minutes away from the old part, at the front desk we are 24 hours available to provide various alternatives to reach every clients destiny, whether is walking, or trough public transportation. Our location is at the city center, between the airport and the old part of the city, therefore, the bittersweet sensation of being in a main location with a local neighborhood. We regret received feedback concerning bedding chance, since we have cleaning goal standards, however, we also provide cleaning on request, as well as amenities, nevertheless, we do respect customer privacy if the “do not disturb sign” is on the door, Our staff at the restaurant works with the objective of fulfilling customer needs and requests, we do have a thematic buffet menu, but we are always willing to ensure a solution, unfortunately, the weather conditions, forced us to leave our rooftop bar not operating in full potential. Please be assure that your comments were taken very serious, we hope you give us the opportunity to show and prove, what Occidental Lisboa service, is really all about.
