    “Fabulous”

Very nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Beds very comfortable, two great pools. I loved it all! The only suggestion I have is: make one pool 'quiet' (no music) for people that prefer a really quiet stay.

We spent two wonderful holidays here but sadly no more has it being completely refurbished and will become adults only we hope to return in 2017 to see the results we can only hope that they have retained the excellent staff and chiefs because the food was way beyond 4star and the sea view at sunset was a sight to behold

    “Alright visit ”

Rooms wasn't that great , didn't accommodate us a couple . We had to sleep in separate beds , as we only had a sofa bed in the living room or twin bedroom . The toilet in the room really stunk of sewers. The room was clean , had a little fridge ; hairdryer , kettle and 2 ring oven . Food was exceptional, defiantly 4* , all staff was very friendly which made our holiday . Always happy to say good morning or evening . Bar staff was friendly , always happy to serve with a smile . The all inclusive at this hotel is excellent , food was lovely and drinks wasn't too bad either . Overall was a nice experience to have a weekend away . Hotel is literally on the beach , 2 min walk. The only downside I would say is the beach was full of seaweed ( wasn't really the hotels fault ) we had to wait an hour every day to clear the little cove. The hotel looked after our cases as we had a late check out and gave us a room to shower in after a day at the beach , which was very kind of them . All staff in the hotel was very friendly , always happy to help . This hotel is situated in a quiet area, not many shops , only a few gift shops and mini markets , but if you want relaxing without the crowds then this hotel would be great , and area :)))

“WHAT A NICE PLACE TO BE!”

This was bit of a 'bargain break' after a difficult year's work and it certainly did the trick. It's a fairly 'no frills' hotel but the facilities are more than adequate. The drinks are in the usual thin plastic cups but their quality is generally good and although the wine is fairly plain the beer and spirits are of a higher quality than usual. Our room was one of the larger ones (105) and on the top floor of the block nearest the sea. The balcony to this room is much larger than normal and overlooks (to one side) the nearby sea inlet. A small window also overlooked the inlet. The balcony was very pleasant both in the evening and during the day; not least because it is some distance from the pool bar where many of the activities take place. As well as the nearby sea there is a large wooded area to the rear of the hotel - good for walking in itself but also there is a cliff-side walk to the nearby lighthouse. Regarding the food (we were all inclusive, which I can thoroughly recommend) you certainly will not starve! And the food is to a very high standard. At breakfast there was a very wide choice of food ranging from cereals, fruits and yogurts etc., for the health conscious through croissants etc. to the full cooked which included British-style sausages, fried or scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and beans etc. - the lot! There were snacks throughout the day in both the pool and seaside bars and cooked lunches in the restaurant. True to form the evening meals were also very good with a wide choice of good quality fresh food. The only downside (and it is a minor one) was that some nights you had to queue for the restaurant as it was full. During our stay it was only for a few minutes, though. Having said this, we were there in October so quite what it is like in high season I cannot say. It has to be said that, although some staff: particularly the bar staff, are fairly perfunctory and, quite honestly, not exactly a bundle of laughs others were among the most friendly and helpful that I have come across. On site there are two swimming pools and both were clean and very well maintained. If, like me, you like an early morning swim, the pool is not open until 10:00am, however, I did not attempt to go in before this time as the sea is so near so I don't know how well it is controlled. Another slight problem was that there were some jellyfish around the island but these were not so obvious in the inlet next to hotel. Portinatx is on the north coast - the opposite side to Ibiza Town and, at least when we were there, after the bars closed at 11:00pm all went quiet so perhaps not for the 'all night partying brigade' for which Ibiza tends to be renowned. Also, we had heard a rumour that children were to be excluded next year and, when I enquired about this, I was told that the hotel had been bought out by the owners of another nearby hotel where children were not allowed but that the policy for this hotel was still not yet clear. Out and about we went on the road train which, at 16 euros each, is not cheap but it made a good morning out. Also took the water taxi to St. Miguel. We booked with Love Holidays on the internet and at just over £550 per person for a fortnight all inc. (inc. transfers) I thought it very good value. Would definitely return.
