This is a unique and exciting experience surrounded by nature.
Everything you need to know
The village of Calahonda, where this half-day activity will take place, can be found along Granada’s shore that runs parallel to majestic mountain ranges resulting in a rugged coastline with gorgeous cliffs. Bathed by the waters of the Alboran Sea, this strategic geographic and oceanic spot with calcareous nature is perfect for scuba diving because it is home to endangered animal species and corals.
This first-time immersion in Calahonda is led by professionals from Buceo Calahonda, which offers rigorous and exhaustive training centred around teaching underwater knowledge, safety and skills to beginner as well as experienced divers. They also provide the safest and most comprehensive equipment for you to fully enjoy this experience, risk-free. The activity will last two hours as we go on a 40-minute underwater tour in which to appreciate the wonders of this stunning marine landscape.
Additionally, people who want to learn the basics of scuba diving can sign up for Buceo Calahonda’s beginner course, which includes six dives. All the equipment is provided along with manuals (hardcopy and CD format) and annual insurance. This course must be booked at least 48 hours in advance.
The activity includes everything for a day of fun and discovery in a setting of unparalleled beauty where you will relax, learn and take in all the underwater wonders the Alboran Sea has to offer.
