What does the experience include?

The SSI/PADI Open Water Diver is the most popular and famous diving course in the world. Once you have obtained your certificate, you can hire the equipment you need to go scuba diving, book dives and scuba dive with your certified friends at a maximum depth of 18 m. If you’d like to learn the basic principles of independent diving and obtain an internationally recognised certificate, then this is the course for you.

What you need to know

SSI/PADI Open Water Diver training consists of three parts: The first focuses on acquiring the essential knowledge need for independent diving and is studied online. Students then take part in a dive in confined waters and learn basic diving skills. Finally, they go on four dives in open waters that let them put into practice all the skills they have learned so far.
