What the experience includes
Book this Ferry and in just 20 minutes of sailing you will disembark at the idyllic "Isla de Lobos".
The island of Lobos is a small islet (the surface does not reach five square kilometers) of volcanic origin with an incalculable beauty and natural wealth . It receives this name because in the past it was inhabited by monk seals, a species currently in danger of extinction also known as sea lions. The entire island is protected, constituting the Islote de Lobos Natural Park, as its land, with its beautiful beaches, and its coastline are home to more than one hundred plant species, unique birds and a wide catalog of marine species.
We propose a series of things to do once you arrive at the Lobos coast, although you can simply let yourself go, because every corner is worthy of a beautiful postcard.
Trekking
The island of Lobos is the first stage of the nine that make up the long-distance trail that crosses Fuerteventura from end to end ( Complete Guide to Fuerteventura trails GR 131 ). The path is less than four kilometers long and has little unevenness, making it a pleasant and obligatory walk for hikers and fans due to its scenic and natural values.
Beach
The entire coast of the islet is beautiful, but if what you are looking for is a paradisiacal beach with fine white sand and turquoise waters and stunning views of the Natural Park of the Dunas de Corralejo, La Concha beach, a few meters from El Muellito where the ship docks, is without a doubt your place.
El Puertito
Imagine a postcard with a footbridge that goes into incredibly transparent water, volcanic rocks that form pools and lagoons, dreamy stone houses ... that idyllic image is the Puertito de la Isla de Lobos.
Surf
At certain times of the year, at the base of the islet's caldera, a high-quality right-hand wave is formed that is highly appreciated by surfers.
Snorkeling
Put on some diving goggles and immerse yourself in the colorful underwater world that hides the coast of the islet, you will discover authentic natural treasures.
And we do not tell you more ... you have to find out.
