What the experience includes
Get to know the interior of Gran Canaria on a complete excursion in a 4×4.
We suggest a different excursion so that you can discover the routes in the interior of Gran Canaria. First we will move along small secondary roads and then we will enter hard-to-reach tracks that can only be reached by off-road vehicles.
This 4WD tour through the heart of the island is ideal for you to see with your own eyes why Gran Canaria is said to be a “miniature continent”. You will ride a 4x4 with all the comforts and with highly experienced professional drivers.
We started the excursion along a coastal road to Arguineguín, from there we went up a secondary road that, between ravines and valleys, shows us the contrast between the south and these midland areas where vegetation is becoming increasingly evident.
We pass through Cercado del Espino where you can see tropical plantations to Soria, a small hamlet that gives its name to the largest water reservoir in the Canary Islands, with time to walk and have breakfast, if you wish (not included in the price).
Within these landscapes of reservoirs, forests, and impressive volcanic formations, we will arrive at the Presa de las Niñas, where if the weather and the conditions of the dam allow it, you can take a bath.
Then, always on hidden roads, we will arrive at San Bartolome de Tirajana and you will visit a camel park (optional camel ride)
The return is spectacular and takes place through the Fataga ravine to Playa Del Inglés on dirt tracks.
Without a doubt, a “continent in miniature” on a day of motoring and adventure.
