Gran Canaria in one day

Duration | 8 hours |
Languages | Spanish - German - English |
What the experience includes
Do you want to see the four coasts of Gran Canaria in a single excursion?
We started our tour in a southwest direction, visiting the artistic Puerto de Mogan, a small fishing village converted into one of the most picturesque and beautiful tourist centres in Gran Canaria. The town is known for its multicoloured bougainvillaea, colonial architecture and narrow canals that have brought it the nickname of the ”Little Venice”.
Our excursion continues through volcanic landscapes and mountains of a thousand colours until we reach the town of San Nicolás, the centre of tomato cultivation in Gran Canaria with its seas of greenhouses where countless varieties of tomatoes and the tastiest tropical fruits on the island are produced.
The West Coast and its beautiful cliffs bring us to the Puerto de Las Nieves en Agaete where we will see the remains of the old one ”Finger of God”. In the Puerto de Las Nieves you can have lunch at a typical fishing restaurant at a more than reasonable price*.
Our excursion will take you along the north coast passing through one of the ancient kingdoms of the ancient inhabitants of Gran Canaria, the city ofGádar. The tour will continue throughGuide, known for its wonderful artisanal cheeses.
We continued north and arrived at Arucas (a city known for its banana crops and the birthplace of rum in the Canary Islands). Already in ”Las Palmas” we stop where you can walk along the famous “Las Canteras” beach and photograph the “Alfredo Kraus” Auditorium or if you prefer you have the opportunity to go shopping in one of the largest shopping centres on the island “Las Arenas”.
After an unforgettable day, we returned south along the east coast of Gran Canaria, not before seeing the famous Avenida Marítima accompanied by its beautiful and slender palm trees, an avenue that has become the main artery of the city of Las Palmas.
