Itinerary day 1
6:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
Triana, Las Palmas
After arriving on the island, we suggest a walk through the Triana neighbourhood of Las Palmas past the Gabinete Literario, the Casa-Museo Pérez Galdós and the modernist pavilion in the Parque de San Telmo. Calle Mayor is a great shopping street.
9 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
Bodega 1890
A relaxed and open space to the city, perfect to enjoy a delicious lunch or an informal dinner, with a gastronomic offer whose central axis is a varied offer of local and Spanish tapas of first quality.

Vegueta, Las Palmas
Considered the heart of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the architecture of the coloured houses in this neighbourhood bears a striking resemblance to some Latin American cities. Vegueta is home to the Catedral de Santa Ana with its strange wooden cloister, along with cultural institutions such as the Casa de Colón, the Museo Canario and the Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno.

2 p.m. - 3 p.m.
El Encuentro Restaurant
Continue your weekend trip on Gran Canaria in the town of Teror where you’ll stop for refreshments in Restaurante El Encuentro (located in the central Plaza de Nuestra Señora del Pino). Prepare to experience some of the most typical Canarian dishes, including papas arrugadas, gofio escaldado and fried baby octopus.
3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Teror
The houses in this small town are magnificent examples of the domestic architecture of the archipelago. The typical wooden balconies and lively colours are quite the spectacle.
6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Playa de las Canteras
After returning to the capital, head to Playa de Las Canteras for a spot of relaxation on this 3-km stretch of golden sand with calm waters. You’ll find plenty of restaurants and cafes on the bustling Paseo las Canteras nearby.
9 p.m. - 11 p.m.
Restaurante La Marinera
Situated at the end of Playa de las Canteras in the area knows as La Puntilla, this restaurant serves delicious fried fish and has a terrace and views over the Atlantic. Among its star dishes are the jumbo fried prawns, marinated tuna and fideuá.

Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés
Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés
Spend the last day of your getaway on Gran Canaria visiting its southern hotspots. There’s space for everyone on Playa del Inglés, whether families, surfers or nudists, and Maspalomas has its impressive lighthouse and beautiful natural dune reserve.

Boat trip
From Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria you can take a boat trip for a spot of dolphin watching. Keep your eyes peeled for several other cetacean species too. There’s no better way to enjoy the island’s coastline.
6.30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
Stroll through Puerto de Mogán
It may not be the most important village in history, but the white houses with coloured mouldings and balconies teeming with bougainvillea make for a charming atmosphere. Some even call it ‘Little Venice’ on account of the small bridges over the river that flows into the sea by the port.
