Hiking through Volcanoes National Park

Duration | 3 hours |
Languages | Spanish - English |
What the experience includes
Explore the Volcanoes Natural Park in a unique setting for a walk.
The Park Natural from Volcanoes surrounds the Timanfaya National Park and is a unique setting for a hike.
The recent volcanic eruptions that occurred around 1730 and which hit Lanzarote over 6 years, changed the configuration of the island and left a unique volcanic landscape known worldwide; this, together with the degree of environmental protection that the area has, make this route a chromatic gift that is difficult to forget.
The entire excursion lasts 6 hours, of which 3 hours are of easy-level walking, suitable for children from 8 years old and with a total distance of 6 km.
Along the route, we can see the processes and forms created by the action of volcanoes: lava fields, ash, craters, tunnels, and stoves... An exceptional colour palette which ranges from the most intense red to black, through an infinite range of greys and ochres. Enjoy the tremendous landscape of the curious shapes created by volcanic eruptions.
