What the experience includes
Sail through the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and discover, thanks to our team of biologists, the 7 different species of cetaceans that can be seen in the Strait of Gibraltar with a probability of more than 90%.
Sighting guarantee: If you do not see any species of cetacean, a repeat ticket will be provided without an expiration date.
Resident species (can be observed all year round):
- Common dolphin
- Striped dolphin
- Bottlenose dolphin
- Pilot whale
Semi-resident species (presence associated with feeding periods):
- Orcas (can be seen from July to September). There is a special excursion to look for killer whales (check prices)
- Sperm whale (can be seen mostly between March and July).
Migratory species (they use the Strait in their routes):
- Fin whale (can be seen mainly between May and July)
Everything you need to know
- Departures are made from the Port of Tarifa (or Algeciras in case of not being able to leave from Tarifa)
- Departures are subject to weather conditions and will be confirmed by Turmares staff on the same day of departure in the morning, so it will be necessary to contact Turmares the same day of departure.

- Pick-up service. You must go on your own to the activity starting meeting point at the marina of Tarifa Town, located about 90 kilometers from Puerto Banús and Guadalmina area, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car.
