What the experience includes
The Meatless Monday movement, or Meatless Monday, encourages not eating meat on Mondays with the aim of improving health and respecting the planet. A new gastronomic trend to which Barceló Marbella joins, thus promoting a healthy lifestyle and reversing the impact on the environment.
To this end, the hotel has created a sustainable menu with which to reduce meat consumption and increase the intake of other foods such as fruits and vegetables. A decision that both health and the environment will appreciate.

To give continuity to the celebration of Sustainable Gastronomy Day, Barceló Marbella has created a special recipe book to practice Meatless Monday for a month. Four fantastic recipes to freshen up and start new eating habits, right away!
Some of the benefits of joining this movement are:

To start the month, Barceló Marbella proposes a zucchini cannelloni stuffed with vegan cheese and pumpkin, accompanied by a vinaigrette of pistachios and walnuts. A dish full of proteins and minerals such as iron, potassium and calcium, provided by pistachio. Walnuts also provide nutrients and antioxidants.
Another dish is cold avocado cream with mango citrus pipirrana, tomato slush and crunchy chickpeas, with high benefits for our health thanks to the properties of avocado, a fruit rich in fiber, nutrients and potassium like almost no other food.
To continue with this recipe book created to enjoy Mondays in a different way and following the philosophy of Meatless Monday, this mild mango curry with chickpeas and rice will delight lovers of exotic flavors.
And to end this new initiative, Barceló Marbella presents a vegetable soup with gyozas and dehydrated shitake mushrooms. A dish that invites us to travel with our palate to the Asian continent.
