What the experience includes
First, we will head towards the city of Vilaflor, which is the highest municipality in Spain. Here, in a large local vineyard, we will have time to take a walk through the peaceful land and the historic garden. We can also try 5 different organic wines, Canarian potatoes, mojo, goat cheese from the Canary Islands and cheese from Almogrote de la Gomera.
After our rest, we will continue our journey through the huge pine forest towards Teide National Park.
We will arrive at the most outstanding area of the park with an incredible landscape of different lava materials and the famous big rocks called “Roques de García”. Here we will have some time to explore and discover the landscape for some time.
Later, we will also pass by the old Teide peak “El Pico Viejo” with its huge lava field of more than 5 km². Quite recent with just over 220 years old.
Then we continue to a five hundred year old lava flow from the “Boca Cangrejo” volcano, with a great view of the neighboring island of La Gomera.
Last but not least, we will be able to reach a fantastic area next to the Sámara volcano and prepare for a breathtaking view of the sunset like you have never experienced before from above the clouds.
After enjoying the special and surprising moment, we will drive back through the Canarian pine forest to your hotel/address.
