    “A beautiful resort but has potential to be so much better!”

    Arrived the last week in February and it is beautiful but we had a few problems. First I want to say all of the staff with a couple exceptions was courteous and friendly especially Karen(my Spanish teacher) in the breakfast buffet. But management and training was lacking. Our room was very noisy when we got there because there was work going on in a room above us... dragging furniture across the tile floor, dropping tools, etc. so we called the front desk. They said we could move to an upgraded room but not until the next day. So we packed up early the next morning as we were told to do and arriving at the desk we were told it wasn't available for another day. We unpacked and packed again and early the next day we were assigned a very similiar room after all of this. We explained we were promised an upgraded room and were finally upgraded but we had to check out and check back in again later in the afternoon. We wasted half our 5 day vacation waiting to check in, unpacking, packing, checking out and waiting to check back in again. On top of that some bar staff and waiters were very poorly trained if at all causing even more frustration and management seemed nonexistent. We tipped well and are not heavy drinkers like many at all inclusives so maybe we expect more than most but we really aren't complainers or unhappy people. I hope management works much harder on training and basic customer service because this place has a lot of potential!

    “Great place to stay and relax”

    We picked this hotel on Apple Vacations, as we have stayed at Barceló's in other parts of Mexico and have never been disappointed. I traveled with my wife and 18 year old granddaughter who was on spring break. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like honored guests. Luis and Lizbeth at the Club check-in were great and always available to give us needed information. Lizbeth always helped me with the internet whenever I was having problems. We were each given a glass of champagne and a free bottle of tequila on our arrival. We had free Wi-Fi and fresh beach/pool towels brought to our room daily. We had access to high-end spirits and a private lunch/snack counter any time of the day in the club room. The room was on the 6th floor of the main building and had unobstructed views of the ocean and complex. The room was spacious that when they gave us the rollaway bed for our granddaughter, it did not really take up any space. The bathroom was so large, that 2 or 3 of us could actually use at the same time. The pool and all other areas were kept spotless. The poolside bar, although extremely busy with all the spring breakers, served great drinks. There was always hot food; hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, fries, onion rings, nachos, etc.. to snack on throughout the day. The breakfast selection was excellent and one could never go hungry. Actually, we never went to the lunch buffet during our 7 night stay, as we filled up too much with breakfast. We went to 3 specially restaurants; Italian, Mexican, and Seafood. All were great and the staff was excellent at each one of them. The other dinner buffets were also very good, except we thought that they could have done better on Oriental night. The Monday Cowboy buffet was superior, with steak and other items cooked over charcoal grills. The Ribeye steaks were excellent and the best I have at any hotel. You cannot really swim in the ocean, as the waves and undertow were very strong. You could go up to your knees and basically go out a little way if you were a strong swimmer. This would not in the future stop us from staying here again. With everything to do, who needs the ocean when the pools were so warm and not salty. We played bingo on the last day and my wife won a bottle of tequila. Richard and staff at poolside were great. All and all, we had a great time and management should be commended for their dedication to provide the best service to their guests. PS: Please tip the waiters in the buffet and especially in the specialty restaurants. They provide excellent service and be rewarded for all the effort they provide.

    Great trip to Mexico! Danny is awesome and very accommodating, making our trip so fun! The resort is beautiful and not too crowded which is nice. There are many spacious pools and all of the food options are great.

    “Non ho dato cinque punti solo per un motivo...”

    La struttura è bellissima, la vista sull'oceano appena si entra nella hall è da subito tranquillizzante. L'albergo è molto grande, ci sono ben 5 ristoranti. Al bar della piscina offrono di tutto, lo staff è gentilissimo, specialmente Chris, al front desk, per le attività da fare fuori dall'albergo vi saprà aiutare nella scelta vista la moltitudine di cose che si possono fare a Cabo. Il cibo è buonissimo, al ristorante del buffet hanno organizzato una serata a tema italiano ed era tutto squisito, bravi. La scelta delle pietanze è molto varia ed è tutto ben curato. Il mare è bellissimo tutto è ben curato, le stanze sono spaziose ma l'unica pecca è l'umidità che non consente al bagno di avere un'adeguata aerazione e quindi le piastrelle sono costantemente bagnate e pure il pavimento e questo provoca la muffa che non è proprio bellissima da vedere. Solo per questo non ho dato 5 punti in quanto è un problema che si dovrebbe cercare di risolvere in qualche modo. Per il resto tutto bene. Vale la pena soggiornare in questa struttura. Peccato che noi siamo rimasti solo cinque giorni.

    “Visto il periodo post Uragano devo dire molto buono!”

    Sono stato in questo albergo nel periodo post uragano. Il fatto che fosse già aperto dimostra che la struttura e l'organizzazione sono di primo livello. Il fatto che c fossero dei lavori in corso anche all'intetrno della struttura non mi ha creato noia o disturbi. Camere molto ampi e arredate un pò in stile retrò. Camere pulite e abbastanza accessoriate. Ristoranti con menù molto ricchi. Ristorante a buffet molto buon e ricco di tutto! ristoranti alla carta super buoni. Personale cordialissimo e preparato. Che dire. Lo consiglio e ci tornerei!
