    “Occidental RUINED my trip.”

    Our trip started out hectic, as our first plane was nearly 2 hours late, leaving us only an hour to navigate through customs in Guadalajara, Mexico. Therefore, we missed our flight, which they were able to reschedule and still get us to our connecting flight, and final destination on time. Once we arrived to our booked hotel, Occidental, we were told that 2 days ago they had an incident in which their pipes exploded, and caused issues with their rooms on one side of the hotel. Unfortunately, this was the side in which our rooms were booked. They stated that in addition to the piping issues, there was no air conditioning on this side of the hotel as well. They did not have any additional rooms to book us in or upgrade us to, so instead they purchased us a room at the Novotel, another hotel in Panama city, which they stated was of the same caliber, and had us taxied there. As you can imagine, this issue made me and my accompanying guest extremely upset. First of all, if there was an issue with our rooms at the Occidental, that occurred 2 days prior to us arriving, then we should have been notified by phone or email PRIOR to our arrival. Occidental didn't notify us or bookit.com. Had we known there was an issue with our rooms, we could have appropriately rebooked at a hotel of our choice and to our standards. Instead we were notified upon arrival and had no other choice but to stay at the Novotel. We specifically chose the Occidental because of the cuisine they offered as well as the night club, and we also planned our vacation around being in the area of this particular hotel. The Occidental was in walking distance to many food choices and casinos, which is why we didnt get a rental car, however we were in an area much different than what we expected. We did not feel comfortable being placed in a new hotel in an area that we hadn't researched, however we had no choice. To make matters worse, when we asked for any type of receipt or confirmation of our booking at Novotel, they told us that they could not provide us with any receipt, confirmation, or documents of our stay since the rooms where purchased by the Occidental. Novotel told us that the Occidental was the only one who could provide us with booking information or receipts. Once given this information, I called Occidental and they said they had no record of our booking and also told us that all of their rooms where fully functional and there was no piping issues that they had ever experienced. Now this is skeptical, because at this point we felt as though we had been lied to, and cheated out of our money. We immediately caught a cab to the Occidental to retrieve any information that we could on our prior booking. They couldn't even find our names in the system, and had no receipts or confirmation of our hotel booking with Novotel. That's just ridiculous. How do you pay to put a party of 3 in a whole new hotel and don't keep anything on file. The best advice they gave was to come back at 8am, which was not possible as we had a flight to catch that morning. With no luck, we finally asked to take a tour of the room in which we originally booked as we wanted to verify that we were receiving the same quality at Novotel as what we paid for at the Occidental. They didn't have any of the Superior Double (the rooms in which we originally booked) available for viewing so instead they showed us the Standard, which is a step down. This room was way more renovated, bigger, and of better quality than our rooms at the Novotel. This is not the end of our troubles. We booked the roundtrip hotel airport shuttle with Decameron Explorer. It was fine getting us to our supposed hotel, Occidental , however when it was time to leave we had to stay up at all hours of the night to figure out how to get in contact with them to let them know that our hotel was now different. I called countless times and sent an email, but received no reply. Thankfully the manager at the Novotel was able to get ahold of someone within the company to pick us up. I don't feel like this is something that we should have to do. And through all this Chaos, we received no forms of communication from the booking agency, about a change in our rooms or transportation, because they weren't notified. This was a horrible experience, and we weren't even compensated in the least bit by this hotel for THEIR mistake. Bookit.com did a great job trying to help us work with this hotel, but I WILL NEVER RECCOMEND this hotel, or wish this experience on anyone.

    “posizione centrale”

    ottima la posizione nella parte nuova della citta' personale non proprio disponibile e solo alcuni parlavano inglese stanza grande e comoda ma aria condizionata molto rumorosa; in camera l'abbiamo spenta ma in bagno si accendeva automaticamente e non vedevi l'ora di uscire per il grande rumore; colazione molto scarsa quindi se e' compresa nel prezzo bene altrimenti andate fuori che non vale i 15 dollari che costa

    “Una settimana in hotel”

    L'hotel ha una posizione centrale, è ben servito, bella camera, bel mobilio, ottima climatizzazione e buffet abbondante della colazione. La palestra è piccola, alla hall il personale potrebbe essere meglio informato sulle attività qui intorno, ma nel complesso lo valuto positivamente.

    “Buon rapporto qualità prezzo ”

    Sono rimasto per tre giorni e sono pienamente soddisfatto. Il posto è centrale dell'area finanziaria anche se la sera intorno non c'è un granché bisogna fare almeno un chilometro. La camera è molto moderna pulita confortevole e ha un bagno grande e una doccia immensa. In cima al albergo c'è un club da dove si può vedere una bella vista sulla città.

    ottima la posizione nella parte nuova della citta' personale non proprio disponibile e solo alcuni parlavano inglese stanza grande e comoda ma aria condizionata molto rumorosa; in camera l'abbiamo spenta ma in bagno si accendeva automaticamente e non vedevi l'ora di uscire per il grande rumore; colazione molto scarsa quindi se e' compresa nel prezzo bene altrimenti andate fuori che non vale i 15 dollari che costa

    “Una settimana in hotel”


    L'hotel ha una posizione centrale, è ben servito, bella camera, bel mobilio, ottima climatizzazione e buffet abbondante della colazione. La palestra è piccola, alla hall il personale potrebbe essere meglio informato sulle attività qui intorno, ma nel complesso lo valuto positivamente.

    “Buon rapporto qualità prezzo ”


    Sono rimasto per tre giorni e sono pienamente soddisfatto. Il posto è centrale dell'area finanziaria anche se la sera intorno non c'è un granché bisogna fare almeno un chilometro. La camera è molto moderna pulita confortevole e ha un bagno grande e una doccia immensa. In cima al albergo c'è un club da dove si può vedere una bella vista sulla città.
