    “Good enough hotel, but don't stay for the food”

    Last minute booking saw me take this the week after the school holidays. Nice enough hotel, although only one small pool with heated water. Stay away from the catering options though, decent places all around but this was high churn / poor quality that you could expect.

Also, I would add that we offer in addition to our main restaurant, our à la carte restaurant where all our guests so they can vary their dinner and enjoy the specialties prepared by our chef.     “Outstanding! Pleasant place for a family with young children”

    Rooms are very clean. Bath towels and bed sheets changed everyday. The swimming pool is clean and warm . Good location near the shops and restaurants. The nearest beach is 10 mins walk from the hotel.

    “Great friendly hotel”

    Just returned from this hotel ( has changed names as we booked as barcelo valadero so was a bit concerned at airport when given different hotel name). Staff so friendly and helpfull. Gave us ideas for places to visit and arranged taxi to take u . Food was good quality however would have liked more choice for children at buffet ( maybe a kids section with choice of nuggets , sausages ect). Recommend a la cart option nice choice all dishes great ( and a kids menu my 4 year old granddaughter loved it).

    “Fantastic Holiday!”

    After being hugely let down by Lastminute.com (I highly recommend NOT to use them, cancelled our booked hotel 8 hours before our flight!) we chose this hotel through Thomas Cook as a last minute alternative. We booked an all inclusive superior apartment and were so pleased with our choice. We stayed in block B, room 110, which had air conditioning, a proper shower screen (no clingy shower curtain!), a sea view and was lovely and light, clean and fresh. There was a lot of traffic noise in the room but it it faces a main road so that is to be expected, other rooms were probably quieter but we loved the sea view so it didn't matter to us. The food was outstanding, lots of choice and everything was cooked really well. There was always pork, beef or fish cooked fresh on a grill by a chef, lots of salad, breads, hot meal choices such as goulash, paella, tikka masala, pizza, fish in sauce, pork or beef in sauce, the list goes on. If you can't find something to eat each day and night you must be seriously fussy! The waiting staff were brilliant, they work so hard and are always polite, friendly and helpful. If there were no tables available that were clear to sit at you only have to ask and one is set for you in seconds. We didn't have anything to do with the reception staff as we had no issues at all so can't comment on them, but at check in they were really helpful and efficient. The entertainment in the day is mainly sports competitions and adults and kids both joined in, darts, pool, ball games, water polo etc. The night time entertainment was mostly a bit of singing and dancing from the staff with some acrobatics, pleasant enough to sit and amuse yourself with. The all inclusive drinks were all self service, brilliant idea because there was never a queue. Throughout the whole week we never saw anyone that had 'over indulged' and there was never any mess left anywhere like I've seen in other AI resorts. The gardens and pool areas were kept lovely and clean. The snack bar served chips, pizza, burgers, hot dogs, salads, paella, mini cheese and ham toasties and ice creams. All of it was fine and what you would expect from an AI snack bar. Locally there is a black sand beach a short (hilly) walk away and a bit further on there is a small green park area where you can watch the waves crashing in which is nice. The sea looks as if it is always too rough to swim in, our week was red flags every day and people were only dabbling their feet in the shallows. It looks like quite a rough sea area. Outside the hotel there are bus stops that take you to other resorts, we went to Playa de las americas on the bus, it cost 11.95 euros for 3 people each way so much cheaper than a taxi. The bus does get very full and 3 went past us before we finally got on and on the way back it got very full again. Near the beach is a little set of shops and restaurants and bars, not sure what they were like as we were AI and never ate out. A taxi from the airport cost us 50 euros each way so it worked out much the same as transfers but was direct. The weather when we were there (14-21 Feb) was mostly sunny / sometimes cloudy / a shower here or there and mostly 20-25 degrees. It was warm at night, maybe a light jacket or cardigan if you feel the cold otherwise it was really pleasant to sit on the balcony of an evening. You are ok to take drinks back to your rooms so when the bar finishes at 11 (12 if you pay for drinks) you can take a drink back to your balcony. Our room had a large flatscreen tv on the wall that had a variety of channels, Sky news, BBC news, BBC one amongst others. I think our room was cleaned daily, it was hard to tell as it was so clean anyway. We always had clean towels and the rubbish was emptied and beds made. In our apartment was a hairdryer and built in shower gel, little things that you may have forgotten and a kettle and cooking utensils. The swimming pools were cold but that didn't stop anyone from using them, it got very hot in the midday sun! All in all we had a fantastic week and didn't want to come home. We would definitely visit again : )

    “Hotel TI”

    O hotel foi recentemente renovado, os espaços são aceitáveis o quarto é amplo. A limpeza dos quartos já deixa muito a desejar. Todos os dias tivemos de ser nós a desfazer a cama da sala para que o chão fosse limpo. A cozinha não tem qualquer equipamento de limpeza e quando chegámos o balcão parecia que não era limpo há uns tempos. No que diz respeito ao restaurante, é indiscritível a "porcaria" que são os tudo incluído de espanha... desde toalhas com nódoas com meses, pratos, copos e talheres sujos misturados com limpos ou semi-limpos. Os empregados também não primam pela simpatia nem são prestáveis. Até acabamos por nem usar os serviços de refeições do hotel o tempo todo. Não voltaremos.
