    “Terrible hotel ”

    I don’t even know why I gave it two stars May be cause the valet parking car staff is the only friendly staff, first I arrive at 5pm when check in says starts at 3pm surprise my room was not ready and they gave me a room with double beds instead of the king size I booked which I paid extra. No problem around 9:10PM my wife wanted to shower so we can go out dinner and guess surprise no water pressure in the hotel. Contacted recepción and they say that’s no their fault that is the area where the hotel is, what’s BS. Never again I should paid the extra 20 usd per person for better hotel

    “Worst Hotel stay in my life.”

    I have never had a more unpleasant hotel experience as the one I just went through with Occidental Hotel Panama and it's staff. I booked a room through booking.com. I had the intention of spending the holidays in the hotel enjoying what seemed to be good installations and a 4 star rating hotel. Much to my surprise I come into the room late at night on my first date and I notice a strong smell of stale urine and sticky floors. Since it was late I decided not to bother anyone. The other day I woke up and reported the situation to the front desk to which I was told they were going to get the room cleaned. I left that entire day and returned at 8 pm , still , to a room filled with the stench of stale urine. I asked the front desk guy if he could please move me to another room because I noticed the hotel was relatively empty, to which he unkindly replied there was no way. He said it was all taken and I believed him. I even contacted booking to see if there was something that could be done to help but they spoke to him and he convinced them there was no room. So I go into my room and try to not think about the whole situation despite the smell because I had already paid for the room... It later occurred to me to double check through booking to see if the guy was in fact honest about there being no rooms. As I suspected there were still available superior rooms, just like mine to which I could've been moved to. I went down and tried to reason with the receptionist yet another time , to no avail. He simply did not want to help.I went up , packed my things and went down to do my check out a full day before my actual check out. As I stand at the reception a couple of backpackers checking in said they had booked their room just 10 minutes prior, meaning by the time I had asked for the switch it was a plain bold lie that there weren't any available rooms. Suffice it to say that I'm very dissapointed and upset about my stay at Occidental hotel . My money doesn't grow on trees , I work for it and I tried investing it on a vacation weekend , instead , getting one of the worst hotel experiences to date. I've travelled all over the place. I'm not a complainer. But this was WAY out of line. You have terrible people taking care of your customer service.

    “Very comfortable ”

    The bedrooms were nice cleaned, bathroom was spotless , nice view from the top building, special areas for smoking outside the dorms. The breakfast was great. Its near the metro station and good staff.

    “Great value at the Occidental”

    Very nice rooms clean and modern. great breakfast you'll hear the rooftop club late into the night if your room is in the 12th floor. There is no pool but there is an excerise room. All things considered value is excellent.

    “Отель, чтобы только переночевать”

    Отель на твёрдые 3*. В номерах есть халаты, но нет тапочек. Удобные, хорошие кровати, на которых, аж по 4 подушки. Идеальный Wi-Fi. В номерах ооооочень скудное освещение, как у крота в норе. Заселяли долго. Завтраки -скудноваты, овощи отсутствуют вообще, если еда заканчивалась, то пополнять её не спешили, но голодным никто не остался. На 14 -ом этаже есть бар, в котором гремит музыка, а если учесть, что звукоизоляция отсутствует в принципе (ВСЁ, ЧТО происходит в соседних номерах слышно!), то и музыка по ночам тоже спать на давала.

    “Great value at the Occidental”
