    “Not actually 5 starts”

    Wouldn’t really think this is a five start resort. More like 3 stars. There is only one restaurant in the whole resort the others are by reservation (only one reservation per two days!) sō I was shocked because other resorts in Mexico were better

    “3 star not 5 star”

    We spent 3 days beginning of May, and glad it was a short stay as we thought the place was average. The bedrooms are lovely, large and clean. Internet is not free! We were very disappointed with the food- on the first evening, we arrived at the restaurant around 9pm, by that time, the hot had dried out- they served beef- which was dry at the top (because of the hot cabinet and chef putting too much food on the trays at the time) and the bottom of the meat was overcooked as it had been there for way too long. The fish had also been there for too long and looked like baby food- in a 5 star hotel, you would expect to be served fresh meat with lovely vegetables, but I was not the case – the buffet stations were full of junk food. Who serves marshmallow for deserts and doughnut for breakfast???? I made a complaint and the manager and chef came to see the first morning (breakfast time) and they were really quick at acting which we really appreciated. They said that they will serve us fresh fish for the coming day- at lunch time, we were served this beautiful tuna steak with risotto, it was delicious, but to my opinion this is the type of food that everyone should be served considering it is a 5 star property! We bought some wine for the evening as their house wine tasted like table wine. We were approached by member of the team to do a snorkelling trip at a reduced price, but in order to have the special rate, we were told to bring our passport and credit card at reception, we were then told that we had to attend a sales presentation that lasted an hour and 30 minutes. They were trying to sell us some kind of membership with their hotels!!!!! The staff was very pushy and were trying hard to get us to sign it (that was the reason why were were asked to bring our credit card)- this is not acceptable- we made it clear that we were not interested, they then send us another sales man to convince us to sign. Staff at reception not friendly and rather lazy, they do not want to be talked to! Overall our experience was average, this is not a 5 star hotel!

    “Great resort for the money!”

    Friendly, safe and naturally beautiful resort in Cozumel’s southern coast. Beautiful beach but would be nice if they groomed the keel and seaweed. Also need more staff to service the bars and clean up. Rooms and food were great!!

    “Highly would not recommend”

    I am currently staying at this hotel, and I wouldn’t recommend it for the following reasons: - rude, unhelpful staff - you have to pay extra for internet and it BARELY works - paper thin walls, you can hear the conversations of the people next door - bathroom door is broken - supposedly you have hbo, but our room did not. When we asked about it, they said they would come by 3 times (no one showed up). Ordinarily, this wouldn’t matter, but the game of thrones finale was tonight and I am personally extremely annoyed about this - terrible buffet food (all fried, nothing healthy) - pool bar closes super early and the drinks are terrible And this is only my first day. I just came from the royalton riviera so perhaps my standards are high, but I’m very disappointed in everything about this place which I was initially very excited for. The only saving grace is that the hotel is pretty.

    Awesome hotel complex with an incapable front desk because they cannot handle their own system e.g. we wrote via booking 2 notes but in the end there was just one note in the system!!! The resolution of incidents is bad because they want to give you easy things to say sorry and that's it.
