    Interesting to read everyone else's reviews. You can only speak as you find right? Staff were friendly and courteous. Accommodations were comfortable, well appointed, kettle, toaster, pots and pans etc. And scrupulously clean and well maintained. Half board menus were plentiful and varied with lots of fresh veg and salads plus veggie options. Would we come again? In a heartbeat. Thank you Barcelo. 🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    “Not what the label says”

    Just returned from a 10 day all inclusive holiday there, we did not get off to a good start as we had booked a superior bungalow and offered a first floor room, when i approached Thomas Cook they said i need to read the small print as a bungalow in Spain can mean first floor accommodation (what do we pay them for) we did get a bungalow that we were reasonably happy until the door lock jammed and the maintenance staff had to break in taking the frame down and most of the plasterwork so on the move again to another bungalow. so our first 2 days where somewhat spoilt But Thomas Cook are happy as was the hotel as they gave us free use of the room safe!!!! The resort lacks customer services like a lounge with a refreshment bar to relax in the all inclusive needs to be all inclusive not a mix of AI and 20% off in the other service bars & cafe's it is a very big site and the distance between services can be very challenging.

    “Winter sun”

    My friend and I travelled here for a week of winter sun, I read all the reviews beforehand so was aware from them about the beach being closed, this was a shame as when finished it will be beautiful, however if the beach is your thing a 5 minute walk along the promenade brings you to another and keep walking and you will find small lagoons with beaches. The hotel itself was far to spread out, meaning a lot of walking just to get from a to b. On arrival we were given a basic map how to find the room, block 2, needless to say we got hopelessly lost and had to be diirected by other holiday makers. There is only one restaurant which gets extremely busy, the food is what let this hotel down, only the items that were cooked in front of you were hot, and the choice could have been so much better, As a general rule I would always go AI but after reading the reviews I chose half board, to be honest we would have been better off self catering as there are many cafes and restaurants very close by. Our bungalow was lovely, the cleaners came every day, changed the towels every day and the linen every other day. It was spacious with more than enough storage space for clothes. Our bungalow was ground floor overlooking the small heated pool, lifeguard was on duty every day, our terrace however never got the sunshine which was a pity. The area is beautiful, we really enjoyed feeding the chipmonks who are tame enough to come right up to you. I would recommend the hotel if you are young and like exercise, but if a little older a smaller hotel might be better

    “Great family holiday”

    we have stayed here for a week stopped in a self catering villa, really nice had plenty of space made and towel change everyday. very clean and they fitted wifi to the rooms half way through our holiday. great location near all bars and restaurants. Only a 10 min walk away. entertainment on an evening was excellent. Only thing to say is that the hotel prices for food and beer is expensive. the local town has lots of bars & restaurants all serving great food at a cheaper price.

    “Great family holiday”

    Just got back Feb 2017. Excellent family holiday everything you require on a all inclusive holiday. Staff are friendly the hotel and rooms are spotless and it's situated in a lovely place. Going back next year and hopefully they have finished the beach as it's man made so works were still on going but never spoilt anything
