    “A nice family resort”

My wife, son, mother-in-law and I were upgraded to the Place Deluxe family section of the resort. We were given a room with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom which was extremely nice. There were two double beds on one side and a single king size bed on the other. The room had some electrical issues when we arrived as the there was no power in the room. Maintenance came and did something to the lights in the bathroom and flipped the breaker and everything worked fine from then on out. The beds were nice and comfortable and the A/C worked well and kept the room cool. The minibar was always refilled with water, pop, juice, beer and snacks. You get two balconies, one faced the golf course, the other faced the garden and had a hot tub. We were a short walk to the little kids water play area, which our son loved. Lots of chairs and it was never really busy. There is also a bar there where you could get drinks. I am not sure if it was a full bar but they had beer on tap. There is a trolley that will stop by but I am not sure if there was a schedule for when it stopped so we just walked everywhere and it became a little exhausting after five days in the sun. The family area is a little walk to the main part of the resort where the restaurants, pools and beach are. I am starting to think the food at any of the resort in D.R. is just not that good. I didn't really care for anything at the buffets besides the churros and passion fruit. Everything else was just ok or sub-par, even at the restaurants. You have to make reservations at the restaurants days in advance and they always say they are fully booked. Maybe paying the concierge would open up some restaurants, but when even we tried to make reservations nothing was available or they would be available at 5pm and 10pm. We ate lunch a couple times in the sports bar where you can get burgers and fries and hot dogs. The drinks were ok, they were mostly no name brands. They have Dominican rum such as Brugal and Ron Barceló but you have to ask for it, the beer is Presidente. The pool is gigantic and finding a chair is kind of hard. There was no problem finding room in the pool because it is so huge. Only one swim up bar and it was always packed and we had to wait forever to get drinks there. The beach is nice and big and the water is calm, a little seaweed floating around and the water kind of stinks. There are plenty beach chairs since the resort is so huge, we never had a problem finding one, I don't remember seeing any vendors on the beach either. They have a bowling alley, but they charge to play. There are a few stores on site that have souvenirs, snacks, etc. We went in there quite a lot to kill time, but they don't take cash, it is charged to the room. We didn't stay out late enough to watch any of the shows, sitting in the sun all day with the occasional drink in you hand wears you out. If you like massive resorts, stay here. The service was ok and they expect you to speak Spanish. We will go back if we get a change and if the price is right.

    “Birthday present”

I got this trip from my husband as a birthday present. We went there in the end of Januray 2017. The Hotel is really big, has more than 10 buildings (all 3-stories). It really is a resort, you go in, and dont feel the need to get out of there. There is everything you need inside. All facilities, and room was good quality, staff friendly, and helpful, meals more than excellent. We have visited Punta Cana before, we stayed at another hotel, and this hotel had far more nicer beach. Beautiful, clean, and secure. There is a small market not far, where you can buy coconuts for 3USD.

“The worst of all inclusive 5 stars resorts”

The hotel location and infrastructure are excellent, however it s not really all inclusive: basic activities such as kids swiming pool, Jakuzzi and basic kids games are not included. The Golf green fee is free but you have to pay $75 per head for the cart. The worst is the food and drinks: food is heated frozen food, wine tastes like a mix of bad grape juice and Alcohol. That s bad for a 5 star hotel. If you want to drink good coffe, you have to wait until 4pm for the coffee and cigar bar to open, which is too bad for most of us who need a good coffee in the morning. Service, specially at the reception, need a lot of improvement. We will definetly not come back. I hope this review will not be removed. I m a verified guest I was in the hotel between the 11th and 18th of February

    “Rodinna dovolena...”

Resort muzeme vrele doporucit my se urcite vratime!
