    “Not the most comfortable hotel. Terrible restaurant.”

    The hotel is clean and well located, but that's the best I can say about it. The room we had was very small. In the bathroom, you had to place your knees under the sink counter to sit. If you leaned forward just a bit you could brush your teeth while taking care of your business. We traveled as part of a group of 40, and no one in our group was happy with their room. The heat was on despite it being a warm day, so our rooms were all like sauna's when we arrived. We were able to get the heat turned, off, but even with that we had to sleep with windows open. Unfortunately the noise level was very high, and that was the same whether your hotel faced the street or the interior of the hotel. You either heard lots of street noise or all conversations in the hotel. The food in the restaurant was terrible--honestly the worst food we ate in all of Spain. The meats served were like jerky and the Paella had hard, crunchy rice. The wine served was disgusting. We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel due to our group's travel schedule and it was incredibly unfortunate.

    “Luxurious hotel with marble floors”

    We booked the Superior Double Room and found it reasonably spacious even with the extra single bed. Very comfortable beds. We had a little balcony overlooking the street which we liked. Good wifi. Convenient location. Enjoyed the rooftop bar and lounge area. The toilet flusher often got stuck and was a bit of a nuisance. Did not have the breakfast as we thought it was too expensive for the small amount we eat. Cafe next door had fresh pastries and was open every day at 8 a.m. (even Easter Sunday) so that suited us better.

    “Not what I expect from such a hotel ”

    Myself and another stayed her for one night only, which was extremely lucky because after the night you would not want to stay longer. Firstly a bunch of us arrived at the hotel at 12, which we understand was early and as a result we did not expect our rooms to be ready. However, we checked in and to our surprise were given our key. Upon arriving at our room we discovered the room was not made up. We had not been informed of this and went downstairs to get it sorted and it was due to our early arrival. Would have been fine if they had just said ‘we can check you in but your room isn’t ready yet’ instead we were shocked when we walked into the room. We decided to head out and explore Granada, as this hotel is in great proximity of many places. We took our time to ensure we would go back to a clean room, upon returning at 3.30 we got to our room to find our cleaner still cleaning it. So we waited downstairs as to not pressure her. Upon returning to our room, we found light switches that were dislodged and hence not safe, the actual toilet bowl moves (which seems like it could potentially be disastrous for plumbing). As a result we decided to fill out a feedback sheet to make them aware of such issues, upon looking in the book with a feedback form we found the last guests form, which goes to show they checked the room greatly. As the not progressed our room was freezing and we discovered the tv didn’t work. I will say that the reception staff were great in assistance us to warm up our room. Just as we were ready to turn in for the night I found a cockroach in my bed. This was absolutely disgusting and leads me to question the cleanliness of the building. Due to the time though I just removed the bug and covered my bed with some of my clothing so I was not laying on the part where the cockroach had been. However, this did mean that the whole night I was worried of a further encounter with a bug. The hotel does a great job deceiving people by having a gorgeously decorated downstairs but fails to deliver.

We have been talking with the team to know what coul happen to make that mistake, just to inform you, we have take measures to not let this happen again. We sincerely regret reading that you found cockroaches in your room and we thank you for contacting our réception for us to intervene. We have in place a regular pest-control plan and of course work hard on a daily basis to avoid their presence within our grounds, however at certain times of the year, depending on the climatology of Tenerife, the presence of insects is unfortunately unavoidable. Furthermore, cockroaches need food, water, warmth and shelter for survival and this is why we have a very strict policy forbidding the taking of food from our restaurant and we also encourage our guests not to leave any food or crumbs in their rooms in order to avoid their settlement in our accommodations and we ask that you please accept our sincerest apologies for the inconveniences caused to you and your partner.     “I really loved this hotel”

    Hotel has some charm from past decades, but is still modern. Lovely room, housekeeping was excellent and management to pleasantly surprise few times. Although would have been great to have a long mirror close to the closet by the room entrance. The breakfast was great with lot of variety. Great location with lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Only the shower was a bit tricky to use, but worked well after you learned how to use it.

    “Lovely hotel”

    Perfect zone for walking around ; good location ; good food; helpful staff as my rental car didn't start in the day of departure so panic attack as our flight was from Malaga airport My room 652 very nice as 601 and 711 my grow-up children

    “Not what I expect from such a hotel ”

We took our time to ensure we would go back to a clean room, upon returning at 3.30 we got to our room to find our cleaner still cleaning it. So we waited downstairs as to not pressure her.
