    “Nothing to fault Superb!!”

    This might be long but here I go if you want a review in depth. The hotel overall could not be faulted at all. I'll start with my room. I paid for a sea view room. Was not disappointed. (I'll add balcony view) room was modern spacious great amenities. Including a hairdryer, toothbrushes soap gels shampoos showercap ect. Minifridge perfect for keeping your water cold and your aftersun. Plenty of wardrobe hanging space. And great balcony size. Bed was incredibly comfy. Feather pillows. 2 single beds pushed together but it did not bother us at all. Moving along Breakfast was buffer style. Everything you could think off. Eggs boiled fried and you can ask to have omelettes made. All types of bread toaster. Sausages mushrooms hashbrowns occasionally. All types of meat for sandwiches. Croissants and buns. Fresh fruit cereals and yogurts. All fresh juice ect. Coffee machines and Nespresso machines and champagne. Onto the pool area. Lovely and clean nice an peaceful alot of umbrellas incase you can't hack the heat. Pool was super. And loungers were comfy. Towels provided in the hotel room seemed to be the ones everyone used to place on a lounger. Reception and staff were lovely and alwaya treated us with respect and kindness. Right outside the hotel is a spa shop for quick necessities wich is very handy. Prepare for allot of strep roads in Madeira as there is plenty to hurt your legs. We called them 'calf killer's haha. There is a bustop right infront of the spa shop wich can take you straight into main Funchal wich at the time I'm writing this was €1.80 there and €1.80 back so dirt cheap in my eyes. It can be walked as we did it once, but my god it's a harsh walk back. Haha. So overall a superb hotel. Great pick for your holiday. We stayed for 11 days and wished we could stay for longer. Any questions don't hesitate to ask me. 😀

    “Staying in a fantastic Hotel”

    Absolutely beautiful hotel ,proper bright modern rooms. Staff was very helpful and friendly..Big choice for Breakfast and never te short from everything. Rooftop bar amazing few, and good service. The Pool was clean and well looked after.

    “Fantastic Holiday”

    This hotel is central for everything. Hotel itself is very clean, food is excellent. Rooms are very bright, comfortable and modern. I can't wait to return here. Funeral can be hilly but there's excellent bus services, plenty taxis and we did the open top bus tours so we hopped on and off and didn't need to walk up hills. Thoroughly recommend a holiday here.

    “Very disappointed”

    This hotel was not what we were expecting from the website. It is certainly nowhere near a 5 star experience. The bedroom, a deluxe junior suite with panoramic sea view did not come close. The view was not panoramic, the facilities in the bedroom were sparse. The bedroom did not have a mirror, apart from a full length one near the door, so to put on makeup or dry your hair you had to use the bathroom. There was no storage space there, so every trip necessitated taking everything in there every time. The only plus point was the cleaning. This was first class. We had booked half board, but after 3 nights we decided to cut our losses and eat out. The restaurant was woefully understaffed. On arriving at breakfast you were lucky to find a cleared table, and the table was not cleared of dishes you had used. The breakfast selection was good but the evening meal..... the same salad selection every night and the cooked section was unappetising and the temperature cool. Not what the pictures show for sure. To get anyone’s attention there was impossible too. All in all not a happy time. The only member of staff to be helpful was Marcos who was in the dining room for the first few days, but when he disappeared so did service.

    “Balcony view was the best one ever.”

    Exceptional staff service. Definitely book the sea view for something very, very specail. Higher the better floor wise. Pool area very clean with bar service. Breakfast was perfect in everyway - selection, attentive staff and beautiful setting.

    This hotel was not what we were expecting from the website. It is certainly nowhere near a 5 star experience. The bedroom, a deluxe junior suite with panoramic sea view did not come close. The bedroom did not have a mirror, apart from a full length one near the door, so to put on makeup or dry your hair you had to use the bathroom. We had booked half board, but after 3 nights we decided to cut our losses and eat out. The restaurant was woefully understaffed.
