    “Good location but minor issues”

    A group of 12 stayed at this hotel and the location was great. Within walking distance to a variety of restaurants. The issues were minor like only one elevator worked and with a full hotel, it was impossible to get a car down to the lobby. I waited 15 minutes and then ended up lugging my suitcase down from the 6th floor by the stairs. There were shower issues in one room (clogged drain & flooding) that were never resolved, and also the breakfast buffet ran out of food the last day, with an hour left of the breakfast service.

    “Avoid the elevator!”

    Average hotel, nothing special. Great disadvantage (!!!) - there is only one elevator, not very spacious and delivering only one party at a time. It doesn’t make additional stops on the way up or down. So plan your time ahead or choose stairs. After waiting for 18 minutes my husband took our luggage downstairs himself, mercifully we were lightpacked. There is no complementary water in the room, no tea/ coffee station. Breakfast was ok. No egg/omlette station, eggs already fried. Coffee in coffee pots at the tables.

    “The bad experience ever in my life”

    I was there for conference for all day long, I will not talk about the food because it’s another story, but I will mention the people working there, there’s no professionalism at all, a man on the reception named Ahmed was so mean to me, and when I asked for the manager to report the issue, he said that the only manager in the hotel is him which weird and not true of course, I asked for address mail to report but it was a hopeless case !! I waited in the lobby with a pregnant colleague to help her till her husband arrive, mean while the manager come so I reported the issue to him, and at my biggest surprise he didn’t listen or give me the time to finish, and said that he know his employers and I have no proof !! I don’t know how to give a proof unless if I have to record the conversations in hotel lobbies with receptionists. It was frustrating specially when you paid a lot of money. I will never be there again for our conferences or a stay. Very very BAD experience ever and when a I said that I will post a comment on TripAdvisor about what happen he threatened me that he will sue me for that !! I don’t know if people get sued for comment on trip advisor for telling the truth to the community and I don’t know if barcelo group will agree with that n

    “Never again”

    We stayed in this hotel we check in about 22.30, had to order room service the food was terrible and cold. I ask for an iron so that I can iron my clothes cause I had to leave early in the morning, I was told I had to wait till 08.00 I was planning on leaving the hotel at 07.30, next time I'll stay at the Sheraton.
