    “A wonderful stay in Oviedo”

    If you're wanting incredible service, with very attentive and kind staff, look no further. The rooms were spotless, comfortable and modern. The dining options, breakfast buffet & La Palmera, were delicious. We had one of our best dinners at La Palmera (and believe me, we were spoiled with food during our entire trip). I think it would be incredibly hard to beat a stay at Barcelo Ovideo Cervantes!

    “JUST A CITY HOTEL - NOT AT ALL A 5 * WORTHY”

    Everything about this hotel - apart for the location is so dissapointing' Garage only for small cars - not acceptable No feeling at all of a 5* - just a city business hotel Breakfast one of thw worst selctions I have had for years in a 4 or 5* hotel

    “A great one night stay”

    We stayed at the Barcelo Oviedo for one night during our road trip from Galicia over into France. Our room was very spacious with an excellent bathroom. We stayed in 6 different hotels during our road trip and this room was without doubt the most comfortable during our trip. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we were up and out the following day but the hotel is in a great location with many good restaurants and cafes on the doorstep.

    “Not wonderful”

    The hotel is conveniently located in the town centre. We received a cordial welcome at Reception, but things declined after that. We were delayed in getting to our room, due to the excruciatingly slow lift (elevator). Our room was quite stylish and modern, but just passably clean. We were disappointed the glass partition in the bathroom area was badly cracked. The shower and toilet are in separate, individual rooms with frosted glass walls. These did not provide complete privacy. We have been married 38 years and it did not bother us! It might be embarrassing for friends sharing, however. There was an electric kettle, but only cheap decaf instant coffee was provided. A five star hotel might consider providing a Nescafé machine! On a positive note, the wifi was fast and worked very well. Breakfast was good.

    “Needs cleaning supervision”

    Overall the hotel and the rooms have good taste. But attention on the cleaning area is missing quite a lot. The bathroom needs mantainance in shower and sinks. And for the beds... I was bitten by bed bugs. I would not consider these hotel is a 5 star.
