    “Great service”

    We had excellent service from Gilberto Perez. Best waiter at the Caribe. I would for sure come back to the Caribe Buffet just for his service. He had a great personality and was accommodating for all our needs.

    “Always worth the trip”

    Barceló Maya Resort always exceeds expectations. Staff are beyond friendly. Pool service at Beach by Irene Sanchez is fabulous! Santa Fe and Spanish restaurants are not to be missed. I recommend premium upgrade for great free room service and premium alcohol.

    “Wonderful holiday at Barcelo Caribe Maya Grande”

    Huge bouquet to Brenda Silva for working so hard to make our holiday so special. Big thank you Brenda! You provided excellent and professional service. This was our first vacation at Barcelo Caribe Maya Grande Resort and we loved it! The beach was beautiful, the food was delicious, the gardens were spectacular and we found top-notch service everywhere we went! We loved the spa! We loved walking the tropical pathways between the hotels. Lots to do besides lying at the beach. Our room was nothing special but we weren't in there alot. It was clean, beds were comfortable. Definitely would come back to vacation here.

    I liked the hotel and the ocean being so close and the immense detail in the captain Morgan bar and ute at the ocean guide place was funny and if anyone actually reads this can you email me back and tell mr if its a guy or girl

    “Not 5 Star but nice”

    Poor start with Sunwing, waited at Cancun airport for nearly two hours for transportation to resort, Sunwing staff there were very disorganized. Room did not meet expectations as the site I booked with had it rated as a 5 Star. Requested two beds , first night did not get two beds then transferred to a handicapped accessible room with two beds. Traveling with 20 year old daughter, would have booked elsewhere if I knew they could not provide requested room. Beach and pools are nice. Lots of chairs at both. Nice that you are not hassled with towel cards. Food was good, nothing exceptional
