    “Could do better”

    Restaurants were very poor check in and check out were horrible . I wish they knew how to cook a good steak do not know the difference but tween medium well and medium the lady at the front desk was not knowledgeable I was very rude never did get her shower door fixed because none of your maintenance people knew how to speak English never did hear anything from management about this issue the wife was stuck in the shower for 40 minutes before we had to force the door open

    “Horrible experience”

    We had two families traveling together with a total of 7 of us. We reserved 3 different rooms under 3 separate reservations. Upon check in we were told that we would be escorted to the Royal Club check in area as we had all been upgraded to the Royal Club. After arriving at the private check in area in the Royal Club, we were informed by Hati that we were lied to by their staff and that we would be in deluxe rooms. We had originally planned on this, but didn't appreciate the fraud and lies right off the bat. We were also informed that they don't provide any "extra" services or perks for Expedia customers. To there surprise, one of the reservations was made on their BARCELO company website but they showed no record of it and insisted if was Expedia. When we made the reservation on BARCELO, the promotion we took advantage of was free WiFi with a reservation. Well they refused to provide the WiFi info even after being asked for it the ENTIRE stay. When we arrived to our rooms, we found that we were all given KING beds even though we were told that two of the room each had two queens. This resort is definitely unorganized. the employees are unprofessional, and there is a definite lack of quality management! The rooms were decent, but between the 3 rooms we had bathroom floods, toilet issues, A/C issues, no maid service on several days. The food was below average. If you the guys don't come with pants and closed toes shoes, then you have ONE option for dinner and it is horrific. The beach is the ONLY thing good about this entire property. We will NEVER be back to this property and plan to let everyone we know to never vacation here.

    “Wonderful Experience! Can not wait to return!”

    Had a wonderful stay with my family. Fast check in, absolutely beautiful grounds, nice clean rooms with a large bathroom. Great cold a/c in the rooms. Wonderful and attentive bartenders. Food was pretty good for an all inclusive. Beautiful pool and beach area. Loved that this resort was calm and quiet. Definitely going to return!

    “Occidental Cozumel”

    Staff is great, food was great, resort is very good, definitely would stays again here. Jesus, Ruben, Sonia, Mili (name spelling might not be correct) and other entertainers were absolutely phenomenal, they made this vacation extra enjoyable.

    “Really bad food”

    The food was so bad we had 14 people in our group and we had to go outside hotel to eat. The bars closed to early you had to walk to front of hotel if you needed anything. The rooms were nice and bathrooms were large.
